Added my suspicions about Griggs to the end of his section.

Re: There's more to them
As always Dough, awesome stuff. But, don't you think it's kind of weird how Vinhiem could have aquired Logans spells so quickly after he developed them? Either Lordran is more high tech than anyone thought, or somthing strange is going down. Now what that strange thing is, I have no idea.

Re: There's more to them
It does seem weird. Im not sure how they got it. My best bet is that Griggs got a copy then passed it along to someone else who took it from lordran. Like a spook supply train. Vinheim might have teleport spells. Or time distortion. It actually took 5 years to get back to Vinheim but like 5 seconds passed in lordran. Thats kinda out there but possible.

Dusks teleport/time travel might lead me in that direction.

Re: There's more to them
Ahh, i forgot about time distortion. Thats probably the most plausible answer, that Griggs actually traveled all the way to Vinhiem, but it didn't seem like he was gone.

Re: There's more to them
Not to mention he has stealth spells, so he could sneak away, vanish for months, come back and Logan might say, "Well, that was a quick piss Griggs."
Though here's my question, how would he get CMW? He never makes it to Anor Londo, he fails and goes hollow in Sen's.

Re: There's more to them
Ah he only fails once. He may have done it before, thus why he was so confident he could do it again.
Anyway here is my first attempt at Laurentius. Im not that happy with it so if you guys want to critique it, maybe add something ro just do an entire rewrite thatd be cool.
Laurentius
Laurentius is a simple pyromancy user. A loner in his homeland (unlikely that is
what the great swamp. He comments that
he never had friends because of his pyromancy) he travels to Lordran when he
turns undead to “attune himself with the ancient arts”. However this is somewhat of a lie. The ancient arts are that flame sorceries,
used by the witch and her daughters before the first flame was extinguished. These arts are now lost to man and gods
alike. But he shows no interest in the
izalith catalyst (belonging to one of the 7 sisters) nor the demon catalyst (belonging
t the last master of the flame sorceries).
Instead he shows great interest in the chaos pyromancies and the
ascended pyromancy glove.
Despite the instructions you give him to get to Quelana/the White
lady he does not manage to make it to them.
He instead goes hollow NEAR Quelana.
Presumably he found the spot you were pointing him to then went hollow
desperately trying to find her. He may
also have been prevented from reaching the White lady by the barbarians throwing
boulders at him. Another reason that he goes
hollow.
Now why was he in the depths originally? If he was originally searching for the
ancient arts he may have been looking for power within. If a spell was hidden for hundreds of years
that would make it ancient. Of course he
could have already been down there searching for Quelana and just got
kidnapped

Maybe throw in that he possibly couldn't have seen her, and that he is likely of the East, as he uses the Eastern Male Face.
Other than that, looks good.

Looks great.
Just to add my own thoughts, maybe he went hollow because he met Quelaana but couldn't speak to her?

Remember as I said, "You can see me?" She is surprised when you first meet her that a person can see her. And you need an Ascended Pyromancy glove to see her. What exactly does this mean?

+10 is an ascended Pyro glove, she just Ascends it past that. Kind of like going from a +10 Longsword to a +5 Lightning Longsword.

Re: There's more to them
I think the reason you can see her is the same reason you can still function while hollowed. Think, if Laurentius went hollowed down there, and since she has Undead Rapport... Put it together

I've always wondered if she new some pretty powerful charms. Nothing else in the swamp targets her. They can hit her, but they can't target her.

I don't know about that, she kind of sucks at combat, and doesn't hit very hard. The other day I decided to fight her, and boy she wouldn't even hit back half the time.

Re: There's more to them
Ok, here is Laurentius.
- Spoiler:
- Laurentius is a simple pyromancy user. A loner in his homeland (An odd note is that
he has the face of someone from the east, not the great swamp. This brings a new development as we now know that even in the east pyromancy is considered primitive. The east may even be one of the advanced cultures he talks of) he travels to Lordran when he turns undead to “attune himself with the ancient arts”. However this is somewhat of a lie. The ancient arts are that flame sorceries, used by the witch and her daughters before the first flame was extinguished. These arts are now lost to man and gods alike. But he shows no interest in the izalith catalyst (belonging to one of the 7 sisters) nor the demon catalyst (belonging t the last master of the flame sorceries). Instead he shows great interest in the chaos pyromancies and the ascended pyromancy glove.
Despite the instructions you give him to get to Quelana/the White lady he does not manage to make it to them. He instead goes hollow NEAR Quelana. Presumably he found the spot you were pointing him to then went hollow desperately trying to find her. This is due to the fact he does no have the require level of pyromancy needed to see her. His flame is not strong enough. He may also have been prevented from reaching the White lady by the barbarians throwing boulders at him. Another reason that he goes hollow.
Now why was he in the depths originally? If he was originally searching for the ancient arts he may have been looking for power within. If a spell was hidden for hundreds of years that would make it ancient. Of course he could have already been down there searching for Quelana and just got kidnapped.

Re: There's more to them
Hey no problem, it's a pleasure. I should probably take a crack at writing up for another character. This morning I'm going to be a bit busy, I really should sleep in a bit. But if I'm not tied up with a friend I'll be on like Mid-Day, and I'll try and pick out a character to write up. Actually, it might be interesting to write up an even less known about character, such as certain hollows and NPC's that don't actually speak or interact with the player.

Maybe Havel, maybe some others like the Unspeaking Hollow in the PW, Reah's Friends, Shiva's Bodyguard.

Re: There's more to them
Well for the last few Ive just been checking the npc page and choosing someone I felt like researching. And I have been tryong to pick a few of the more well known ones (except Dom but I really like Dom). So the lesser known NPCs have kinda been left in the cold. I was also thinking about maybe adding a boss or two like Quelaag or Sif eventually. Havel would be a goo done though. You dont talk to him but theres still a fair bit of info on him.
