The Vinheim dragon school already has access to a crystal spell. How would they? Logan only develops them after getting to the archives? Griggs must manage to get to him, grab a copy and get to Vinheim and back at some point.

If you are getting your information from the wiki itself, Great Magic Weapon and Crystal Magic Weapon have the same decription. I don't know for sure which one is the right one, but it sounds more likely that it is Crystal Magic Weapon that has the wrong description.

Considering Miracles are stories that are retold to draw upon the power of the actions that took place, and the fact that Havel created the Great Magic Barrier, I find him to be interesting to say the least.

I've got a bit about Carmina in my own thread. I also have a bit of a theory about her, Solomon, and Laurentias, but it's late. But worry not, for I'll have it pre-typed soI can just send it tomorrow morning

Well ... bugger. There goes a great theory. But before I change it can anyone get the crystal magic weapon description?

    Looking forward to it Cloud.

    Quelana and Laurentius:

The pyromancy flame is considered part of the person, which is opposed to talismans and catalyst. Laurentius, when he gives you one, indicates it's like he gives you part of his soul. Quelana appears only after ours is ascended. Laurentius can't see her so we assume his is not +10 yet. The description of the hand changes once Quelana gets her mitts on it to indicate it's part of her soul now. So, it seems to me that the flame is an extension of the self and vice versa. As it grows stronger, we grow closer to the flames. Chaos is considered the "stronger" fire magic so it would appear that we need to be borderline chaos levels to see Quelana. Once we're on the cusp of that we're almost caught between two pyromancy worlds (like the ghost daggers existing in two worlds at once).

Nice theory. From that I would infer that you need someone already over that edge (i.e. closer to chaos than disparity) to bring you over the edge. You cannot simply push yourself to the highest level you need someone to bring you up to it. Pyromancy is apparently a very group like magic.

Havel would agree. He would likely see the internet as a whole as a type of magic and disagree with it on principle. Probably smash it too

Haha so true. One thing has always bothered me about Havel. He's an undead but he fought at Gwyn's side. That would mean he was one of the first undead. But from the prologue it sounds like the undead are a recent curse upon the world. I can only think that Havel was closely realted to the pygmy. If so it adds evidence to the pygmy being the god of war. In fact, due to his hatred on sorcery and his immense strength it adds evidence to Havel being the god of war/pygmy. Mind = Blown.

I was actually thinking about that myself as I was working on that, but I just don't have enough to make that basis, as well I don't know what havel looks like under his helm.

Actually something interesting to note, Oscar of Astora has no head. I clipped into his helmet, nothing in there haha. That's probably just something they missed.

Oh yeah a small observation I made, Gwyn bleeds ash like the black knights.

I tried to clip through, no head. By the way, Griggs doesn't have a Vinheim face. Just a little observations, I've been trying to pay attention to ethnicities of characters.

Headless Knight......coooooool. Although doing that trick can have weird results based on lighting. I did that with Shiva and almost choked and ran to the forums to tell you that Shiva's eyes are completely white/silver.....NO PUPILS AT ALL TOLVO I SWEAR! Then I looked at my character and saw a similar thing. On went the Sunlight Maggot and suddenly we both had our full faces again. Somehow it changed the amount that was drawn in.

Smart idea.Is Griggs eastern? Cause if he is that adds to my theory that the east gets their spooks trained at Vinheim.

He resembles more of a farmer. If you look at his face he actually has a very "Stupid" and "strong" bone and muscle set up in his face. He doesn't look at all like a sorcerer to me, which is very odd. Rick though looks totally like he's from Vinheim, I'll have to check Logan again and see if I can get his face, time for some camera angling.

    Alright here's the theory

When you talk to Laurentias, he tells you about his master. His master calls pyromancy the ultimate fantasy, which brings to mind the great fireball spell. Laurentias also knows 2 of Carmina's spells. Laurentias is the less favored student of Solomon, and he is taught alongside the prodigy Carmina, and in fact Laurentias is from the past. He followed Carmina into Lordran in the hopes to find a way to become her equal.

As much info as he's give me, I don't really trust Domhnall. A few things to consider:

There was a Channeler in the Depths. Why would he be there, to check up on the Gaping Dragon? Herd around a bunch of rats?

Here's another question. Where did Domhnall get his Crystal weapons? Those are pretty rare. Only one guy in the game really has anything to do with Crystal weapons, and he's a dragon.

And why did Domhnall move to Firelink? To be closer to his newest client? Maybe. But he's also in a great position to watch what's going on at Firelink; the player's main base.

He's a peddler, of both trinkets and of information. It would not be wise to assume you're the only one he's selling either to.

One thing I noticed about Havel yesterday, is that his armor features a lotof chains, mainly on the shield and gauntlets. I haven't been back to look at the tower, but it would appear as if Havel was chained to a wall or some such and most likely broke free.
