i noticed A LOT of ganking artorias cosplayers and a lot of greatshields too. the forest now consists of fast or med rollers with greatshields with the occasional no poise flipping roll bs'ers.

This is my third time trying out the Forest as my main PvPing spot, and I've got to say that I now love it. There are certain things that happen in the Forest that you will just never see anywhere else.

It seems like a get an alternating streak of good and bad luck each day in the forest for ganking and and dirty tricks.

I'm getting old people - been away from the forest far too long. I just invaded a freaking monster of Shiva cos-play.He wore my butt out with that Mura - in fact he killed two other hunters in my presence and I couldn't do a dang thing about it :shock: Old Broke had to heal twice while trying to get some space :oops: .Man - I got to reconfigure my toon - the old BSS (crystal & buffed) isn't going to cut it.It ended in a double kill - I used a WoG - he used a Mura jumping attack.Terrible performance on my part.

I need to get a hold of this guy if what you say is true.

I record all of my pvp so I got it on tape.Don't know if I'm going show my butt getting beat like that though . That fight got my blood pumping I tell you!

Licking the wounds then diving back into the fray.The Mura is dusted off, shined up and equipped!!

mura is a beast if you know how to use it, i always pull out my garg hal when i go up against it. if im using my str build i switch to DGM, and try to predeict their moves to make them go splay with a jumping attack.

When you see Atorias cosplay do they use the Sif soul's Greatshield or the cleansing greatshield?

I don't see a point of the cleansing greatshield because it just really kinda.....sucks.

I see the one from Sif's soul more often. Sometimes I even see them going shieldless with the Abyss GS.

i've seen cosplays with the reg shield more, a couple with no shields and one guy with the cleansing shield which is pretty good against magic users.

yeah, everyone's going crazy about this, im excited but it looks like one of those elder scroll trailers. hopefully they take their time and dont release it too soon.

What is everyone's opinion of me doing a vid series showing all of my fights against mods/hackers? I'm really pissed right now - nothing but hackers and healers have been invading me in the Burg. I can't even get a decent fight in this morning. What's worse is one of the hackers I fought is a subscriber on my Youtube channel . Man - I want to call out all of these types of players and let public opinion do its thing . When a hacker's tag become known then their future opponents will know what to expect.

Naming and shaming is against forum rules. you could do it on youtube but sadly the community is too permissive I have asked a few hackers why they do it and those responses that were not offensive were generally "everybody does it" *sigh* hopefully From will get tighter defences against such things in there next game.

And do it if you get some shameful clips on the hackers!

How many have you asked Dan? I've been taking a survey on it and recieved a vareity of responses. I'm trying to get a good # before I publish the thread anywhere so we can get a general consenus on why people hack.

Do the video and black out the names on the screen. Then, it would be both anonymous and hilarious.

I've decided that if a hacker does not give me a good answer I'm just going to psycho-analyze them. AKA compare them to sadistic individuals for hacking and their pleasure of other's suffering.

Yeah - it is definitely a frustrating experience especially when they either don't respond to PM or send a crass reply back. If I do it I will be posting the tags in the vids but will be turning off comments on the vids (my channel has the pre-approve comments turn on any way ). My main intent is to let the DkS community know about these players and to reflect the hackers ridicolous tactics right back at them - kinda like judo.

Will let the idea percolate a bit.
