Well, I dropped $40 to pick up DkS on PC. Tomorrow we'll see how the community is.

And that's why I'm going to avoid pvp for a while on my new game. I want to keep my illusion of a pleasant game.

Good luck on that. The theme of Dark Souls is death and reanimation.

HAHA - Wolf you know the forest will never change - that's why I love it cheers .I'm going to do a day of invasions there sometime this week - just trying to finish up some weapons testing first.

Has anyone used the club in PvP?I plan on giving that a try just to see what happens. From the vids I have watched it appears to inflict decent stun - if it is similar to the r club I'm going to like it.

Never seen it or given it a chance. I really want to give the Pickaxe a try, though, but my new char is dex based.

The pickaxe is decent weapon for strength or quality build - good guard break and when combined with leo it can be nasty. I use it on my SL84 STR build all the time - its a fun weapon. You only need 14 STR to wield it but you probably won't get optimal damage output with ur DEX build though.

Glad to see you back on the front lines.

I heard something a bit ago about the Ring of Sacrifice stopping your soul drops when hunting. That true?

I heard this also - but I have not seen any proof of it. It sounds logical though - since technically the ring should block the transfer of souls to ur killer.

HAHA - ur were killing me Wolf literally. But I will say all of that time I have spent being murdered by u in the moonpit is and has been paying off when I fight randoms. You and couple of other players have really allowed me to step my game up and for that sir I salute u Prostration . I should be on later tonight so I will send u PM if I see ur on.

Been playing around with the Great Axe and TC Pole and it turning to be a fun ride. With both weapons u just have to watch out for those roll BS'ers  .I don't understand why players with the right stats don't give the TC Pole a chance - the bonus across 3 stats really adds up. I have gotten a few PMs from opponents saying the TC Pole hits like a truck (meaning damage). You have to be very aggressive with the TC Pole - and if u watch ur spacing you can really punish an opponent at distance.Plus I just love eating through shields.

Yeah - so far I have not been rolled BS'ed big grin . I have really worked on spacing opponents and attacking at the optimum time - this seems to be paying off when using the TC Pole. When I fight flippers I use my faster primary weapon and change to the TC Pole when the time is right. For some reason I can use the TC Pole better than any of the other halberd class weapons - I guess because its the shorter of them all (faster recovery maybe??) allowing me to better control attacks.

The same goes for me. I suppose its situational R2 makes me rely on its R1's more, so I need to make those R1's count.
