Should I kill her now?

2. You can visit Oswald and ask him to talk to her so she forgets the matter all together and acts as if nothing happened (A.K.A "Absolve Sin")

I just wanted to join so I can refill my estus flask from 8 to 10 without having to fight those guys all over again for Sif.

You'll achieve nothing from "killing" Alvina, but you'll lose plenty if you do:

- You'll lose the Dark Wood Grain Ring
- The Shiva Merchant (With that; the Washing Pole, a way to get an Uchigatana without murdering a merchant, the East Wood Grain Ring and Claws)
- Ring of Fog
- A Divine Blessing

All in all; you'll lose 5 items for that playthrough as well as access to another Divine Blessing (Which are limited per play-through) and some quick ways to get other items.

^ it's more than that. He sells shotels Demon Spears and butcher knife or something like that. All in all shiva sells really useful dexterity weapons. Oh and RoF...I think can be traded to snuggly.

Ah yes, forgot about that bird (funny, because I used him to get the Ring too), anyways, I did not include Shotel, Demon's Spear, Butcher Knife (Particularly because he doesn't sell the Butcher's Knife) or all the other weapons because you can get them via other means. The Washing Pole, Claws, EWGR and DWGR are only accessible if you join her covenant. The Uchigatana is accessible via killing a merchant, but said merchant is also the only means of getting other items, so it isn't too convenient to do it.

Do not use Chameleon. Use Hidden Body. You won't need to sneak past them, just don't get in their personal space and you'll be just fine.
