WAIT A GOSHDARNED SECOND! Any chance they could be implementing the long-lost armor sets such as the Elite Cleric Armor and Mage Smith Robes under the "NPCs" bit about the "New Weapons and Armor"?

You know, it would be cool to see Artorias appear randomly to screw you over. Like your climbing out of somewhere and he appears and kicks the ladder over. Stuff like that.

It's actually supposed to be a different set, and has actually been found as a separate item in the coding. I'm not sure how exactly it differs appearance-wise from the Black Sorcerer set, but I'd imagine it would be comparable (at least when it comes to noticability) to the Cleric vs Elite Cleric set, ie: you can't really tell unless you put them right next to each other :|

So it is a PC version *AND* From will not be anouncing release of it in Japan until "A later date" increasing my suspicion that the developer did not work on this version and/or any new content is re-addition of cut-outs or recycling of discarded assets

Not releasing the content as DLC for console users would be quite a slap to the face to all the fans. It's basically saying "Thanks for your support, we used your money to add on to the game you so love, but by the way, you're not aloud to play it." What I'm saying is if there isn't a DLC for consoles, I might just snap my Dark Souls disk in half...

So true. They would be stupid no to release a DLC for consoles. The series started on the consoles, we are the true fans.

Would be the same as launching Metal Gear Solid 4 for the X360 instead of the PS3.

If it only goes to PC, just watch those PC elitists go up in their high horses, prancing around proclaiming victory over consoles.
