You can hurt the Female Undead Merchant. There is no use for this since she gives only 60 souls, but at least they give you some additional dialogue.

I noticed this a while ago, but I keep forgetting to say it... I've heard that the YOLO 4-swing combo that the hollows do isn't parriable, however, the last swing is parriable. If you try to parry the first swing like normal and immediately parry again you'll land a parry.
I heard the noise that you hear when the illusory walls are 'broken' as a blue in the Darkmoon Tomb in Dark Anor Londo. Actually, I heard it twice in one day after never having heard it in all my time playing Dark Souls before. I assume that phantoms can pass through illusory walls that the host has yet to break and hear the sound even though they never see the wall.
Really? I almost always parry the Yolo Swing first attack.

After trolling my nephew and his friends at his birthday party about a month ago with various dark souls gestures, I can confirm that "well, what is it?" has a nearly universal impact.
The only other one that registered with them after tossing them into the foam pit again was "praise the sun", but I don't think they grasped the true meaning of the gesture. "Well, what is it?" though? Yes, they definitely understood that one.

If you stand next to an invading red phantom right as he ports in with pursuers above you, they'll fly at him while he's invisible, before the full entrance animation is done. If he survives the damage, he'll be able to move around for a second or two in complete invisibility.

i mostly played solo.also we as in people on the forums? when i was cooping this player would go in front of me and press parry then boss hits me,use estus. ran away tried to send him home the boss hits me then it goes back to the screen next do you know he glitches somehow he got me stuck i was apparently floating off an inch then died

Turns out it was a completely regular vagrant after all. And that it spawned online like all the vagrants do.
I did a bit of googling afterwards and found out that a similar thing has happened to some other people too. Apparently vagrants can stay in your game if you go offline after they've spawned. Last time I played online was about ten or so days ago. So the vagrant had been waiting for me for like a week in the sunlight altar(no doubt praising the sun whole that time).

Just discovered you can jump off the bridge in undead burg to retrieve the blue teardrop ring, look out for the BLack Knight, he aggros all the way to the big area just before you go to the undead merchant. Easier to BACKSTAB there.

It's kind of hard until you get the invisible wall down. Once you realise where that is, the jump is a piece of cake.
