I've discovered (Less discovered, more "Decided") that it's plausible that the Channeler's travel via Iron Boar mount.

The Iron Boars only show up in areas with Channelers, and every area with a Channeler has an Iron Boar, except for one.

So if anyone can find some kind of bones/armor to indicate there was a Boar in The Depths at some point, then that'll be pretty much all the proof needed~

I also noticed that most of the Petrified Blacksmiths that hold Embers can be linked to Seath (Who's quite well known for this little "Curse" thing he does)... But it's already been stated by the Dev's that they're just there to draw attention to the embers, and there's no lore behind them. T'was most disappointing.

I always thought there was some lore, but I never thought they were linked to Seath. I always thought something or someone tried to petrify all the blacksmiths, and only Andre, Giant, Vamos, and Rickert survived. Also, the demon titanite item descriptions mention a blacksmith god.

I think there was an oppertunity for a little lore. It looks like they missed it. Just like they missed the opertunity for chaos phyromancies requiring someone to be a member of the chaos covenent to use them.

It makes me want to start another thread...

I would love to see a Channeler riding around on a boar. That would be hilarious and also a pretty epic miniboss.

^ Actually there's about a dozen or so characters that are references to Demons' Souls. There are about a dozen weapon references too.

I only recently discovered that you could dash with your shield up.

Nah its actually a funny story, you see that black phantom in Demon Souls was one of the hardest since he could move freely in the swamp as you couldnt. So during the testing of the game one of the developers made that build and name and started invading the other developer's testers in memory of that one phantom lol. they liked the idea and implemented her in the game.

Might be a bit offtopic, but i just discovered how awesome it is to climb on the back of giant bosses and stab them in the head

Could be great to do that in DkS2, clibing things (in light armor, that is)

speaking of maneater mildred, i got summoned as a dark spirit in blightown and next thing i knew mildred was attacking me. i never new npc dark spirits attack invaders.

i had a darkwraith in new londo drop 2 titanite chunks i was all like :affraid: cause i didnt even know that was possible.

I had one of them drop me a dark hand and a slab once. They love dropping those dark hands. Probably the item I've fed to Frampt the most. I always end up with a million of em.
