BB glitch opinions

I love going through undead burg with a new character, because you can clearly see who BB glitched and who hasn't.

Now that it's about to get patched, I was wondering what everyone else thinks about it.

Voted both.

I like the bb glitch to make fast new pvp builds but i also think that the most fun of making a new build is to collect all those gear and weapons i want to use on it.

i vote bad, as most people who are around a bit know.

While i accept using it to make pvp builds would be okay, it just isn't due to the fact it is both not intended to be in the game and the fact it is used to do bad, i.e grief. I could probably just about accept it if noone used it to wreck the online community, but because it is, it had no choice to go.

I fully support from's call in removing it once the dlc hits consoles, because it had a negative impact on many players experiences, it had to go.

I like it people complain about everything when most are hypocrites I come acroos tons of people who use glitches more often than those who dont so clearly people are lying about not using it if if you dont abuse it glitching is glitching

I voted bad even though I've used it to make a quick new PVP build. Never once used a BB build to invade. I guess ultimately it ends up sapping the pure challenge out of the game. I've started a few low level runs recently, and I must say, it's been a while since the game has been so intense. And honestly, the last thing the community needs is griefers who might turn off new players.

its useful for making pvp builds but people abuse it and it ruins the whole experience of the game.

The people who says no are hypocrite?That's often an excuse...and even if it's only one rotten apple,it should not rotten all the basket!

I'm entirely against BB glitch.A newbie getting his *** handed by a glitched griefer is not in the spirit of Dark Souls but something completely unfair.

And do you know the best in this?Griefer makes other people use the BB glitch so they can fight them and then they discover all the extent of the glitch,people often take profits from it griefing other people to get "fun" even if it's more unfair than "complete Dark Souls SL 2"

You don't know if a griefer used it to grief.

I'm all for it, I think it added a lot of love for PvP. Like many things, it has bad parts, but its preferable to the terrible PvP system in PtD.

Griefers don't need the bb glitch to grief. The bb glitch may be removed, but griefers certainly aren't.

If you remove the BB glitch,low SL griefer disappears!

low sl griefers have been here since the game came out, once they remove the bb glitch it's only gonna take them about 2 hours to get a fully upgraded fire or chaos weapon. or it could take 5 mins if they go to the catacombs and get the glgs.

Way less though.
A lot of low SL Griefer uses the BB glitch so they don't bother on rushing lighting weapon or chaos with a very low SL.

Going to Anor Londo in SL 10 is hard,nuff said.
Same for catacombs,I congrats the one who manage to return all the way up or avoid death without touching a bonfire and get his fire weapon...

Gravelord great sword still has lower AR than lighting weapon or chaos weapon also and I've never seen a griefer wearing one.

Its not that hard once you are excellent at the game, yes there will be less, but you cannot make the assumption that anyone who griefs used the BB glitch, even thought its likely.

my point of view isn't that the removal of bb glitch will wont get rid of griefing.. it'll just make it rarer, and only good players will do it, so basically you're *** if you get griefed

it's more of a deterrent to not have it, taking longer and doing a low SL playthrough to kill newbies isn't something most people would think to do, obviously there are some, but way less than those who would glitch to grief, it's just logical that there swill be fewer griefers, and that in itself justifies the exclusion of the bb glitch

It has it's ups and downs, i voted both. I do hope the next Souls game really works hard at not having any glitches from the start. I have already tryed pretty much every build i could think of, and have already figured out which ones work best for me. If anything it will just force me to focus more on actual gameplay, rather then how i could tweek my stats just a little bit more.

to be honest they will never go away since they already have their builds bb glitched anyway so it doesnt matter and im pretty sure they can live without any devine blesings.

Of all the hackers and griefers in Burg,most of them just turtle and strafe BS(counterable but lightning is not 100% blockable in early SL)which doesn't really classify them as "excellent players".

That really isn't the same thing. If you remove a hacker, he is gone, and if you kept up on it, there would be none, if you remove the BB glitch, there may be less griefers but you can't stop it from happening. Griefing isn't against rules at all, nothing about it is bad except in the eyes of the players. Hacking is against the rules of xbox and ps, so they should be banned.

Once again, you can't prove a low level griefer did the BB glitch to do it. Today I fought a normal, a hacker, and a griefer, even without the BB glitch (on PC), he had Armor of Thorns, and a Washing Pole. That's not hard to get if you know what you're doing, he was SL 10.

The point is:Even if you can't take one thing completely off,at least take down most of them.
Here it would be not to encourage griefers to be everywhere.

And if it is THAT easy to get lightning gear or chaos gear(according to you)then why be for the BB glitch?

I don't use the BB glitch to grief people, but for SL 120 builds, hence I use it because it is much faster than playing through 2-4 times to upgrade everything to max.

I forgot to say, I also love playing true dragon, which BB glitch reduces about 10 hours of mindless stupid grinding each character. True evil indeed!

Then as you say,how do we know you don't use it to grief?We all have the tools after all to do it.
By taking off tools,it will become harder to grief.
Plus this glitch makes it unfair for people who don't know about it...just like hacks.

Griefers grief, thats how things work. You don't even have to be good at the game, you can look everything up to figure out exactly what to do and where to go to get maxed crap and grief. There are youtube videos.

Nevermind that you can just have a griefer buddy run you to where you need to be to grief.

Should we remove weapons and armor too? they're tools to grief, can't do it without them. How about attacking, or electricity?

An exadgeration I know, but thats the point. The game is a tool for griefing, by your logic everything about the game should be removed.
