So two Story from me (Sunbro by heart):

    1. Gaping Dragon and complete Depth
got summond at the bonfire behind the door. Shortcut was closed, magician alive - nothing was done. so i took him on a guided tour with everything (Spider Shield, kill magician, down to get the ring of evil eye and the NPC Kirk Invasion, open up shortcut). Then the Boss with Solaire - Tailcutoff within the first 5 minutes and then killing him safely.
Directly after the Match the host wants to be my friend in GFWL - no prob glad to help

    2. Anor Londo last Bonfire before Boss
Status: Nothing done, Door is shut.
First jump from round stairway and open up the door, killing a noob invador with firesurge (he went back into a dead end to make miracle heal - lol), make the round with the siegmeyer storyline and then go to O&S with Solaire.
Killing Smough pretty fast with QFS+5 and 10 Humanity (cruel Weapon in Anor Londo) two handed.
Got around 1/3 of the health from big Ornstein with one Chaos Storm and right after went in with QFS+5 two handed an finished him off with one combo - big Ornstein was faster down than Smough before.
That was the next friend request on GFWL

Well i am a Sunbro by heart - when i got enough of them (looting spots available) i drop one humanity directly after bowing - with the message: "Just stay back and watch - if something goes terribly wrong use this to summon me again."

    You are a true Sunbro! I like dropping the humanity. \ \ [T] / / Nice touch.

    Two of them.

    1) I had put my sign just after the Anor Londo elevator, and we did a full AL run (including the rafters, O&S, helping Siegmeyer and killing the titanite Demon). Nothing special happened, but I was amazed that we made it in one go, and the host sent me a thanks you message afterwards, which is always rewarding.

    2) This one happened today, when I got summoned for Artorias. We go for the boss, everything happening as usual, but one time where he was starting to power up I was too far away to stop it (only managed two hits with my greatsword) and the host probably didn't know he had to hit him (he was using a claymore and was closer). Sure enough Artorias gets stronger, aggroes the host, and takes 70% of his HP in one hit. I two hand my weapon and hit Artorias once or twice, trying to make him aggro me once again, but the host starts taking an Estus on the spot (he didn't even move) and is felled by Artorias in one strike. At this point the boss was nearly dead, and I was so upset that the host had died in such a way, that I started mindlessly button mashing and (oh surprise) the attacks go through, while you usually can't attack while the "host has died, returning to your world" messages start appearing. Artorias died in 3 hits, during the host's death animation. It was the long "kneel and die" animation, maybe that's why I was still able to attack during it? I don't know, but it was interesting. I got an humanity but no souls.

you seem to have mis-interpreted my story. i meant we were killing super smough with ranged attacks, not super ornstein. anywho, great stories all. in just a few days this thread has surged with new material, i'm honestly amazed!

anywho, i apparently haven't put this here yet

in the DLC i was putting out a summon for artorias, to learn the fight before going in myself, as well as to help the host. i spawn in and the host is summoning a second phantom. we walk in, and the fight starts, and for whatever reason, artorias seems to hate my very existance. amazingly i find myself dodging most of artorias's attacks, until he powers up a third time(about 25-30% of his health). i got clipped and died instantly. the other phantom messaged me saying " that NG+ third power up is a ***** huh?". i've never been in NG+. ever. suffice to say i was confident with my ability to take him out when i tried it myself

A tale of failed Jolly Cooperation. I decided to summon some phantoms for battle with Artorios. No problem, plenty of summon signs. As I summon the first one, I get an invasion message. I proceed to summon the second and start to go to the fog door. This is when the phantom finally shows up. Both my summons want to fight the phantom, which is fine by me. Three on one should not be a big deal. Off they go ahead of me. I follow at a distance because now the invader is running past Chester and I don't want to aggro him.

I watch for a little while as they try to duke it out. Then the invader takes the elevator up. My two summons wait at the bottom, calling the elevator back down. The invader still on it, unleashes fire tempest, or the chaos version, when the elevator gets to the ground. Both phantoms take heavy damage and are knocked back. Invader rides the elevator back up. Rinse and repeat. The invader does this two more times (I flask in the middle of each one). The phantoms are fine, but I am tired of this game, and the fact that the two idiot summons are falling for this over and over. In an effort to expedite matters I charge headlong into the fight (always a good idea to charge). Not having spent much time in the area I failed to realize that there is no floor in the vacated spot that the elevator used to occupy. So as I miss the invader, with what I can only assume would have been the crushing death blow, by the smallest of margins, I tumble into the aforementioned floorless space and plunge to my death.

Perhaps I am slightly more idiotic than those phantoms that I spoke ill of earlier...

I remember being summoned once and immediately afterwards someone invaded and tried to do that. We just ran past the elevator and went straight on to Kalameet. XD I feel bad for you.

There also the evenings, when everything goes wrong.

Yesterday evening, Anor Londo SL43 with QFS+5 (low HP Build):

    1. host seems capable, door open, so run for the boss. Message Invasion directly after Summoning. Host goes on like nothing happend. I ran in front of him up to the hall on the stairway and rolled into the hall, cause i thought he would be behind the corner. When i turned around i saw a Thief BS the host with on hit of his Bandit Knive. He probably hide by the Demon an came after us....

    2. Invasion directly after summoned - found him soon after the first Silver Knight. No bowing host attacks on sight with high agro (so no honor, bring him down as soon as possible - i do what host wants/signalized). But Invader was good and fishing BS on us. No chain BS he always changed between us. He first got me down and i saw him while dying BS the host again.
1 min later the host summond me again. Fast run to Bossfog and the a mixture of bad luck and a little bit drunk. Royal Sentinels alive just ran through to bossfog. ost goes inside, i spam my A Button to get in while one Sentinels got me with his Swing -> half of my HP is gone. Second Sentinel also on the way to me, so it would have taken me a long time to run around them, heal and come back to Bossfog with two Sentinels before it. I decided to go through bossfog with half of my health - well wrong decision. O&S where both diretly behind the bossfog killing me instantly...feel very sorry for that host, that was a bad job

Not sure whether to consider this pvp or co-op, so i'll post it in both topics.

So i was summoned in the Darkroot Garden. And we get invaded by a blue and a red spirit. And we pretty much just chill for 1 hour. Just chill, nothing else. Then they give us some stuff, and well, yeah. Anywho, the host dies, so that was kind of sad, although i think he committed suicide. :suspect:

I get summoned later by another guy, and so this red phantom, same guy as before invades. And obviously, not being the same host, he assumes he's hostile, so he attacks. So i point at him in hopes that he'll understand, and so we chill. Then he just runs off for the stone knight set, and well. The red phantom bows at me, buffs his obsidian greatsword, use the strong attack, and that's it. Was hilarious, although i feel ashamed for letting that happen. x'D

Last night I am running through NG+ with my lvl 100 toon, heading to the Golem. I see a few "need soldier" messages at the fog gate so I throw down my sign and wait a few minutes, then get summoned by a complete Sanctuary Guardian cosplay dude, stone hammer and all. We bow, run through the gate, and he charges the giant. I figure it's better if the two of us aren't stepping on eachothers toes so I keep some distance and start chucking sunlight spears. I get about three off and all of a sudden the giant Golem goes flying off the side of the platform! I've never seen anything like this, I send a message proclaiming my surprise and that he surely didn't need my assistance if he can just toss (literally) bosses around like that. He said he figured I'd appreciate the souls. Now that's jolly cooperation!

Was just summoned to a guy who was new to Dark Souls. Atleast based on his achievements he was. The game was kind of laggy, and he got invaded by a blue phantom. The blue phantom used pursuers, and it was kind of laggy, as well as the host and me being obvious low levels. So i decided that the only thing i could do was get those pursuers away from him. So i ran forward, got the pursuers attention, but shortly died afterwards. The last thing i saw was the host and the phantom fighting head to head. Really wish i could've done more, but atleast i took a hit for him so he didn't die right away.

that is true jolly co-op, summoning just to give someone some souls, and even sacrificing yourself for the greater good of the host. this relatively new sun-bro applauds both of you!

Got a new one. I was summoned to fight Artorias just abit ago by someone who already had another phantom. The Summoner is decked out in the witches outfit and the other phantom has on some heavy armor, I have on Artorias armor and using one of his Greatswords for the fight. in anycase we knock Artorias down to last bit of his health and I'm down to my last inch of life. Me and Artorias land the killing blow on each other and even finish our death animations at the same time. I still got the souls and humanity from that fight.

This is no co-op tale. But it's so goddamn funny i just had to tell it. I was running through the Royal Woods, going down the elevator leading to where Artorias fog gate is at. And i had been rushing through the area ignoring the enemies. Once i get down and walk outside the Ents jump down the edge after me. And all i could think was:

    ''It's Raining Ents! Hallelujah!

This is kind of leaning towards pvp, but i feel that in the end, it fits in best here.

So me and a friend were doing co-op, and we get invaded. The invader happens to be using dark sorceries. So i use Great Magic Barrier while the guy just spams everything he has at me. At it's hilarious, because i walk towards him slowly feeling like a boss and he runs off panicing, and me and my friend just end up laughing like hell as he fades away. Hilarious. lol

I had a pretty fun co-op game just recently using my lvl 379 Black knight, (BK armor shield and sword) I got summoned at Oolacile Township by an Artorias character (armor, abyss sword clensing shield the works.) anyway after he summoned me he summoned another BK cosplayer who was wielding the BK Greataxe.

So all three of us fought our way through Oolicile and down to the chasm of the Abyss where in an attempt to rescue Sif, the other Black Knight died, me and the host messaged and decided to continue just us. While right before the Boss Fog we got invaided by a Darkmoon wearing Ciarns set after a brief scuffle I got Stunlocked and killed by the gold tracer (I'm not particularly too good at pvp) so I ask host if He want my help, he sends saying he's fine and fought with the boss summoning sif and sadly dying before he could finish the boss.

I couldnt help but feel this would have been a cool way for Artorias to become corrupt, Fighting his way down to the abyss with his fellow knights, their numbers dwindling as they progressed and finally with his ulitmate fate.

This reminded me of when I got summoned in Demon's Souls, which is a very, very rare occurance for me. It was for the Adjudiator, a morbidly obease guy made of bulbber. We took the long way to him.

When we get to the gold skeletons I cast warding. I take out the first one, then I take out the other two before the spell wears off, and this was all by myself.

Then we fight the boss. I'm meleing him. The host is casting soul arrow or soul ray. The host is hitting the body and not the bird, so he is doing no damage. However, I get the Adjudiator to fall down on his face so I can beat the crap out of the bird. I do this two more times and the boss dies.

There is a multiplayer ranking system in Demon's Souls. Each player gives the other a rating. The rating is the same as weapon ratings. The host gave me a D. Who took out the gold skeletons and boss all by hisself ? Me!

Now I know why this rankning system was not put in Dark Souls.

Also, I gave the host an A, but then regreated it when I saw what he gave me. He did well against the other enemies.

Eh....are you on EU servers by any chance? If so, was this about 3-4 months ago?

I was playing a pure mage glass cannon character and that was my first time ever using magic in a Souls game. I remember fighting adjudicator with a phantom and even though I've killed Adjudicator countless times with melee guys I remember trying magic spells on his various body parts just to see if it did any damage lol

If that was me (and LMAO if it was!) and I gave you a 'D' it was an accident. If I remember correctly the rating system pops up on 'D' and I have inadvertently selected 'D' a few times in the past by pressing a button just as it pops up lol

Sorry if that was you and thanks for the help! lol!

Was cooping in Anor Londo order to test out a lucerne + leo ring build (surprisingly fun) when we get invaded. We're tiptoeing through the hallways when we hear a spell get cast and out pops the now fairly common karmic justice guy ("KJG") - crystal catalyst, dusk crown, grass crest shield, etc. I and the host charge up and -- stop. Nobody moves. The KJG wants us to attack. Both of us thankfully know what he's up to, and refuse. We circle a bit, and he tries to bait us by dropping his shield, but we don't bite. Finally he backs into a corner and starts to cast HSM -- at which point the host and I both pull out crossbows and riddle him with bolts. The funniest part was that neither of us knew the other was even packing a crossbow. The only thing missing was a scripted high five afterwards.
