Tolvo - we need you back on the front lines bro.The patch/DLC has really made some changes and since I don't think you were ever a DWGR addict you will probably have a field day with these fools. I have fought so many players who refuse to let go of heavy armor (fat & mid-roll city - not to say there anything wrong with those but if you haven't practiced with it and all sudden need to use it then your toast ). There are still so many evil doers who need to be taught a tough lesson.

You and Infamous come up some of the most original builds I have ever seen.That toon is a walking bolder and plus your using the fat boy roll - which is within character of that type of configuration.

Plus, 500 physical damage with the Halberd.

So if I time my attacks, with a weapon that people find difficulty parrying. I don't have to worry about backstabs. With flash sweat Pyromancy isn't a big deal. Lightning, and fire weapons can get blocked well enough by the shield. Magic is the biggest issue. But with proper spacing and movement I can dodge most without rolling.

Doesn't giant's halberd deal split damage? Physical/lightning.

500 physical defence . Like you said, you might have some trouble against magic. 1.06 forest is full of dark magic at higher levels especially.

I am really hating dark magic. I'm not even fighting gankers and it is horrible. I see them rev up dark beads and its like .5 reaction time or take massive damage! BAM! Oh you didn't roll at the right time.

Then I see pursuers and homing soul mass, and CSS...its just like...really? Come on.

Yep dark magic is definitely a problem for me.That's why you see alot of players carrying around the Crest Shield now. When I host with my SL315 I immediately throw on GMB when a invaders appears (especially @ 1st bonfire in township due to the lack of space) . My SL128 has gotten OHK'd so many times with that Dark Bead it's ridiculous - I had to equip a Crest Shield cause the silver pendant will get you killed if your opponent immediately attacks you when you fire it off.

Having space is really the only sure thing that can save you against it.

it gets easier to dodge the more you go up against it but HOLY CRAP do i hate invisible pursuers, ive been seeing it in the forest about 4 times.

If u guys use dark maic ull get a better understanding of how to deal with it

Well Dark Beads is a forward roll toward the caster. To handle pursuers you ought to try and crash them into objects. They maybe homing, but they can't turn on a dime.

Everything else is just dodging.

Ok brethren - here is the vid with the fight (@ 7:43 minute mark)showing my CSS collapsing the yellow phantoms WoG - the sound and brilliance of the explosion was incredible plus dark magic was thrown into the mix (Thank You citizens ). It was a truly amazing sight.

Broke, good stuff. You've only gotten better. At fighting and video making. That wog might have been late but that's interesting. Definitely worth looking into. No real commentary except I love love love the ganker running for his life while you blast the host. Classic

Thanks skare - still evolving I guess you can say Yeah the white was probably shook-up pretty bad - that gank squad was receiving it from all sides.They were foolish to walking into all that. It was a good win.

cool vid dude. ok so i finally figured out my dazzle and i posted some video tests and they came out ok, im trying to up the nrightness so that it looks better and also the overall resolution. let me know what you guys think, i had a bad night that day so im sorry if i sucked lol

Thanks Fin - I was so pissed at that dude.He had me chasing him in the dark all around the chasm.That's why I set off a WoG in his face when I finally caught up to him (he was cornered basically - cliff was behind him). Yeah he was BS fishing like crazy - the moon horn is a beast against low poise opponents (you see he was ninja flipping). I had to start using the horn when a dude I invaded almost killed me with one - the moon horn's magic damage is weird - it kinda eats at your HP.Good times.

Quality is good enough for me. Good fights! Some bad luck with the parries. Gotta love that cleric npc

I feel like doing some lower level forest hunting for a change. So every single ganker can't have 1900+ hp and 6+ wog casts.

i actually tend to invade a lot of higher sl gankers whiuch kinda suck, most of them have over 2k vit which really drags the fight which is good for me since i have more of a chance to get reinforcements the more tha fight lasts.

I guess high level gankers are simply much more common.

Great vid - excellent server work I might add .You use it better than anyone else I have seen.It is a rarely used weapon so I'm impressed you it whipped it out. I was hoping that cleric would drop the ole mass heal and he came through like a charm .

The video quality is pretty good and the sound is on the money. Can't wait to see more vids of you taking it to the gank. You have a sub.
