I had a run in with a player a while ago. She got really pissed because she kept invading my world, and I kept killing her (She was new to PvP). Told me she would down-rep me and block me if I kept using dried fingers.

I thought she was joking, but...she wasn't. Earlier this week I find her and see she is better and now a DW. I think the forest had corrupted her, because this is what she told me.

It' people like you (who 1v1) that ruin the forest. Then you also kill someone who doesn't want to fight and I'm looking for 1v2's.

(I asked myself...why are you invading then? Why not host?)

On a side note I found somone trying to glitch over the wall where those 3 cats spawn at....anyone else see anything like this?

I always find myself in some of the oddest arguements. I always ask myself, "...Why am I aruging again?"

@Rudmed - yeah that player is a strange one indeed.Was she only looking to bang hosts?If that is the case - I agree the forest has screwed her up bad Hopefully she will see the light.

No - I never witness that glitch before.What exactly were they trying to do - get to an area where they could not be found?Very interesting.

But its easy to get to an area you cannot be found... you just take a little fall.

It's possible to jump there. I have done it myself. I have also once seen another forest hunter there. It's extremely hard, and i would never try it during an invasion.

No she was trying to fight ganks, but didn't want to fight 1v1. She was...odd.

I don't know how they got up to the cat area, but they kept on trying to cartwheel up there while I shot posion arrows at them.

Well I had an okay night in the forest. Not everything went my way, but I had to spilt my attention between my roomate and the fights I was in. I did however have a sick moment.

I summoned a dark spirt to duel there, but he wanted to gank. So I just let him run after the next blue sprit and kinda just followed him. Well then another blue sprit invades me, and I start looking for this one. So I fight the new one, but the guy I summoned dies to the other one who then tries to bang me. He tried to help his evil hunter friend, but was at such low health that I poked him with my rapier and he fell over dead. His evil friend goes for the backstab, but I unlock pivot and parry (with hornet's ring +rapier.) He dies.

I felt so awesome at that moment, but sunlight blade is getting seriously nerfered right? Because I was using my zwielhander and this guy killed me before I could get my next swing off.

Well I haven't heard about SLB (or DMB/CMW) getting nerfed only elemental weapons (on the PC it was only noticeable in PvE not PvP ) are being nerfed. So I think the love-hate relationship with SLB/DMB/CMW will continue but you might now survive if someone is wearing a HR and catches you with BS/ripostes. I saw some vids of BSs with HRs on Youtube and the HR was definitely nerfed. You only probably need to worry about OHK BS/ripostes if they are using combinations of HR,PW,power buffs, roars, etc with a high critical weapon (rapiers, estoc, daggers, BK, etc).

I'm thinking the forest will become a more competitive venue - since a lot of the OHK BS/ripostes and flipping tanks will be gone. As long as you are decent at evading and spacing fighting multiple opponents should be come easier.

Man I'm so out of the loop when it comes to wars, events, etc. Keep forgetting to read the new thread posts.What's this the drum beat of war!? Give me the details or send me the link and I will also check see if there is post about it.

There is not a war thread yet. details are still under wraps but the basic outline is its gona be darkstalkers versus gravesworn and lifehunters.

I am the only xbox darkstalker and the gravesworn plus the lifehunters have 16 unique xbox members... like 12 of which at least are active I believe.

If I work hard enough to get my guy there to the proper level then I may be a merc for ya Dan. Of course should I come across you in the painted world during the life hunter mass invasion...there will be no mercy.

Broke pointed it out to me a while back Fun times... I was in the forest hosting quite alot when he was doing that vid.

I think I did too because I got gravelorded and he invaded that world...as a blue sprit right as I killed the gravelord servant. I was like, "Cometh the harbinger of death....a little too late though."

I killed him because I honestly attempt to refrain from ganking. I would rather have a 1v1 with the host - I agree it is a bit of a stupid move but it also was a bit of a negative move from the red in cancelling my riposte haha.

@Infamous - very good vid.The music complimented the vid perfectly. It was crazy when the red came back and cancelled your BS (or was it riposte cancelled - thanks reim ). Keep striking fear in these ganker's hearts bro.
