Stam Recovery

There are three wearable items that increase Stamina Recovery (Childs Mask, Cloranthy Ring, Grass Crest Shield)*.

If you wear all three does this effect in anyway the recovery speed while Shield is up? Meaning that they could Turtle Poke (Greatshield/Spear) forever with this combo. Or does it only effect the recovery time while shield is down?

If you have the shield up with other stamina recovery items, you will still get the increased recovery time.

And I can't think of any other gear, but there is the green blossom.

That's a good question...

One thing though: they can't have the grass crest shield and be turtling behind a greatshield and poke at the same time! They can do 2 of the 3, though.

And there's also the Green Blossoms item that temporarily boosts stamina recovery.

Edit: beat me to the green blossoms, but I was too lazy to edit it out of my comment!

Now I'm tempted to do a co-op build focused solely on dual-wielding Havel's greatshield, with GCS on my back, cloranthy ring, and mask of the child. I would just aggro all the mobs and bosses and tank it all easily with my shield while the other 2 did the damage!

The Stamina recovery won't help against Criticals though.. 8)

Does the sheild block automatically while dual weilding?

no you have to hold guard button...

Inner strength also drastically increases stamina recovery. I've found that the effect is about equal to a green blossom. However, inner strength isn't particularly useful for turtles .
