Well I've been gravelording on and off for a couple weeks. Though I've spent a lot of that time messing with different builds and spending a fair amount of time simply hosting forest PvP, best PvP practice out there Imo. So I've never really amassed many eyes lol

Yeah I learnt PvP in the forest too. Then did my stint as a Darkmoon who repped up with his DMB. Since then which was about 4 months ago I dedicated myself to Nito and have had 3 incarnations of the Hand of Nito, now doing Avrik reborn as my 4th.

Share your SL80 build, I need inspiration

I have 4. A Great Scythe, a Server, as Gravelord Sword, and a Dual Shotel.

GL sword build pls. Should fit the build I'm in the process of now best.

How does anyone dual wield certain weapons? Cause i got invaided once by a fella who apparently duel wielded the lifehunt scythe in his left and sever in his right, and hi attacked with both, one after another...how is that possible?

You just set a second weapon to your left hand. I use dual shotel and have no shields. So all i can do is the basic R1 and R2 attacks, a quick L1 attack, and a parry.

Also Katanas are a good setup for this.

Ah. that makes more sense....wait, parry? I once put a dagger there, by accident, and all i did was a strong attack...can only certain weapons parry?

yes you can parry with Quelaag's fury sword , the falchion , the shotel & certain daggers , to name a few.

Both my main gravesworn have the lifehunt scythe in the left hand, one has the gravelord sword right , the other has a chaos great scythe on the right.

aside from the larger hitbox you get ., it can be very usefull to trick people or bait them in if you use a long weapon in the left hand. it's especially fun to play mindgames with against people who use a shield to block a lot., you can also hit left and right while standing behind a tree, use combustion in the right hand and attack with lefthanded scythe., it takes some time to get used to it but it's alot of fun and can be really handy.

but offcourse sometimes other player's setups might force you to use your right hand weapon dualhanded exclusively , so your left-handed scythe becomes purely aesthetic.

I think you might be better of with a lefthanded spear though, but if you main a great scythe the lefthanded lifehunt is nice for the added bleeding aswell

Any one figured out that the murakumo 1h l1 is faster than the r1? Dual wield those puppies.

Yup I knew that about the GLS but it cant chain attacks so....

Also guys know that a few of our opponents will be wielding Dragon Slayer Spears ( as they are dragon slayers....) anywho we should refine our tactics against such.

In light of realising this, and I was slow on the uptake, we either need to practice parrying, get some decent poise, or discuss techniques for BS punishing these fellows.

My solution is to medium roll with high poise and high def
