The Followers of Izalith (Still Evolving)

With only one more path to still add (still working out ideas) and some challenges and what not, Its close to being out of "beta" and into just a naturally updating system. I am still looking through some ideas on how to organize the info, and I might have one, but I'll probably make that part of the last update

I really wish there was a path that could vade Catacombs - so many opporunities there - eg; Followers of Vamos or something xD

Perhaps some testing should be done to see how many maggot-attacks would need to connect with the enemy for infection succes ?

ALright, that works for me. I've been meaning to get around to testing it, but moving got in the way and i lost track of it.

I have seen people message me before and tell me that i was a (insert homosexual insult here) for infecting them, so I know its possible.

I like how the lore i came up with in my head for my fire follower matches exactly what you have come up with. PS do i still need to donate 125 more humanity to get max rank? It takes so freaking long!

Im sure I have not infected anyone yet , I usually only do kicks when I anticipate a parry or to mix the mind-game up.

But with my egghead I also use it as a gesture offcourse.

I've read a real funny story on the forum in a post from BamJam in ''the egg-head'' thread which inspired me & might be helpfull for next weeks event :

And next weeks event will entirely bomb if you can't infect people, but I'm pretty near 100% sure you can.

Question to all, the sun is technically engulfed in flame (I know its plasma, but this is for lore purposes). What do you guys think of the next path possibly having faith as their main power?

Theres no lore connecting pyromancy and the sun.

Nahh - Faith followers would mainly buff so meh. I prefer the idea of followers of Vamos

I was thinking like a priest lost in the catacombs that met vamos. Vamos explained to them about izalith after being stuck there a long time, and they wished to see some sort of protection by aiding Izalith. They then use their spells in the field of Bonewheels to kill victims, but as a pacifist, they try hard to let their gods kill instead of simply fighting hand to hand. So, like using TWOP to have the bonewheels kill the enemies, and using the sunlight spells to heal the bonewheels. Kinda like becoming friends with the skeletons around you, in order to find a new life with Izalith.

Maybe Followers of Vamos should equip Dual - BoneWheel Shields themselves

Dual bonewheel shields and armor of thorns, roll only.

He recognizes the ember, he is a flame blacksmith erm, lore buffs will tell ya more I suspect

Hes royalty in some way that knows a lot about izalith. I theorize that hes possibly the father of izalith, but I have no proof

I will look up a video of all his dialogue when i get home today. Idt the whole faith thing would work, though.

Actually, better idea, how about I stick with the times.

When the DLC comes out, I'll have the next path created based on the DLC content. A sort of time traveling follower path so to speak due to the nature of the content.

Im really interested in this new ''dark magic'' too , it looked awesome on the picture Ive seen.

Im thinking perhaps it may scale with both Fth and Int?? to cater for the Faith/int builds out there?
