Announcement Regarding Dark Souls Incoming

If this really is a PC port, it has to be the oddest marketing campaign. Involving existing players to promote it doesn't make entire sense, but stranger things have happened.

So if there is an incentive for existing Dark Souls players we are looking at:

1. DLC
2. Vita Port
3. Sequel Announcement

Of those 3, number 2 is intriguing to me. If you don't have a Vita, would you consider it?

2 would literally be the worst thing ever as I would end up super gluing my vita to my hand. I love me some Escape Plan but portable Dark Souls? Hello!

I would not consider buying a Vita because doing Crack (playing Souls series) out in public tends to appall people...

The release date for the announcement is April 12th for those we are lazy second the page on fb hasn't been going up in likes steadily its plateaued at about 7k whenever i check it. I personally hope for dlc or free dlc like portal 2 had since i think they said they weren't going to include dlc so maybe they'll be like heres free additional content. I want it to have to do with a new covenant or maybe an item that holds memories of Gwyn and his time as ruler aka play as Gwyn )))))))))

Also i hope for a ring that nulls backstabs at the price of half your life... thoughts. we should all just make fake fb accounts to spam the likes for the page to up it even faster.

It would be cool if they made it so that having a shield on your back (i.e. two-handing your weapon) blocked backstabs, obviously at the expense of not being able to use your shield properly. Of course I would really hope the announcement is something more than just a counter backstab...

Hmm, it might be that Dark Souls has 36k likes, but that app only has 7k, that's a possibility. Or it is frozen for some for some reason or another.

They will wait until it gets 1 million likes, then when the wall finally comes down........
