Even if it wasn't all my fault, my posting in there was a pretty significant factor. I wish it would have continued and I hope someone else remakes it, it was a good and interesting thread. I hope we can return to it at some point to be honest tolvo.

I thought it was an interesting thread, but I don't find much interest at the topic being discussed. Frankly I thought it was being handled relatively well and seeing as you all were enjoying the thread I hope sooner or later you can all get back to discussing that subject again.

However, I was confused about what happened to the dinosaur thread.

Oh god. Ohkubo just completely destroyed Soul Eater.

If you don't know anything about this, Soul Eater is a manga which last chapter just came out. I don't want to spoil anything, BUT IT WAS HORRIBLE. Everything was rushed (We only got 1 panel for some of the characters, while other didn't get any at all). Lots of plot holes still open. Lots of important stuff that was just showed to the side and forgotten. And the big focus of the chapter seemed to be boobs (boobs!).

Soul Eater has been getting worse for a while now. But most of us at least expected a decent ending to it. Instead of this pile of smuchk.

Spur a manga I was reading called deadman wonderland did that recently too. Absolutely crap and rushed ending. Was so bad.

In fairness tolvo, scifi can be prone to going terrible because you can just invent easy scifi solutions that you couldn't in other genres.

Star Wars is Sci-Fi Adventure/Fantasy.

The issue with the books are two fold.

Plaguis book, the book has to end with him dying to Palpatine, as was stated in the film. It was interesting but it seems like they didn't know how to have Palpatine properly kill such a powerful character, and just crappily did it.

It's so hard to find the pre-remastered version these days. George Lucas took them off the market when he released the remastered versions. I tried to find the set on DVD a few years back and it was nearly impossible. I ended up just buying the remastered set instead. I still have my VHS copies of the originals. In fact it's one of the few reasons I still have a VCR.

And then George Lucas sold the rights to Disney. Just felt that was worth bringing up.

This is true. It was a twofold crime. Terrible revisions to the movies followed by trying to erase the existence of the good versions.

Honestly I think the biggest insult was sticking Hayden Christensen into the scene at the end of Return of the Jedi. The Jaba's Palace and Cantina scenes are both up there for me too, obviously, but I found the end of Jedi to be such a slap in the face.
