    it actually is a translation by a gamefaqs forum member from Japanese gaming media consisting of interviews with Tanimura. There is a lot of info, but I dont think anything that addresses summoning while hollow.

     It DOES state that to invade, one must be in human form, as it currently is in DkS, which begs the question whether they will deny hollows the ability to summon.
    If this is the case, it seems they're taking strong steps to ensure that people are playing in human form as much as possible.  Sort of makes me wonder if there are some as-yet-unknown benefits to being human, aside from the fact that it will encourage more co-op and invasions.

    (THIS IS JUST THE FIRST PAGE Prostration )
    Cleaned up version (Mostly cleaned up. I couldn't do bow section due to it being confusing.)
    Spoiler:

    -Action
    In addition to the basic operations, you can use a variety of actions and button combinations.

    ◆ Dash
    -Press and hold the X button while pushing the left stick to dash. When you dash, you will consume stamina. While dashing, you can press L3 to jump forward. 
    -You can change the button used to jump from the START menu.

    ◆ Rolling
    -When you press the X button while moving the left stick, you will roll in that direction. Rolling is useful for avoiding enemy attacks.

    ◆ Step back
    -When pressing the X button while not moving the left stick, you will step back. After stepping back, you can press R1 and do a dash attack. 
    -This is good for quickly attacking an enemy after avoiding their attack.

    ◆ Ladder lift
    -When you press the O button near a ladder, you can climb it. Then, using the left stick, you can move either up or down. 
    -To climb up the ladder quickly, you should press the X button. (Not sure if it means press or hold.)
    -To go down the ladder quickly, hold down the X button while pushing down on the left stick.
    -Climbing quickly on a ladder consumes stamina.
    Attacks and actions change while on a ladder. Change your equipment accordingly to fit your playstyle. 

    ◆ Fixed target ( Lock-on )
    -Pressing R3 lets you lock-on to an enemy that is in the vicinity. If there are multiple enemies, you can move the right stick to change the target.
    -Pressing R3 again releases the lock-on that's on the current target.
    -Moving while locked-on allows for you to be constantly facing the enemy.
    -Pressing R3 with no enemy around resets the camera.

    ◆ Right hand weapon action
    -To attack with a weapon in the right hand, press either R1 or R2. It is possible to get a hit in with R1, and then follow up with a stronger R2 attack.
    -R1 is a basic, light attack.
    -R2 is a stronger, usually slower attack.

    ◆ Left hand weapon action
    -When a weapon is equipped in the left hand, press either L1 or L2 to attack.
    -Weapons behave differently while equipped in the left hand.

    ◆ Extrusion attack (Basically a kick)
    -When you press R1 while pressing the left stick forward, you can use an extrusion attack. Extrusion attacks will push the enemy and break their guard.

    ◆ Jump attack
    -When you press R2 while press the left stick forward, you can perform a jump attack.

    ◆ Fall attack
    -To perform a fall attack, press either the R1 or R2 button while falling. 

    ◆ Ladder attack
    -You can attack while on a ladder. To attack, press either R1 or R2 to attack upwards. You can press L1 or L2 to attack downwards.

    ◆ Fatal blow
    -The fatal blow is an attack that is capable of dealing great damage to the enemy. -After breaking the guard of an enemy with a parry, you can perform a fatal blow by pressing R1 in front of the enemy.
    -You can also perform a fatal blow by moving directly behind the enemy and pressing R1.
    -Some enemies cannot be dealt a fatal blow or parried.

    ◆ Switching equipment
    -You can switch what you have equipped by changing them in the Equipment menu. The equipment in your right hand will be on the right, while the left hand on the left side. You can also change your items at the top of the Equipment menu.
    -The next item or spell equipped appears smaller, and to the right of the currently equipped spell of item. (when playing) 

    ◆ Switching to one hand or / two-handing
    -You can press the △ button to wield your right hand weapon in with both hands. -You can press and hold the △ to two hand your left hand weapon.
    -Pressing △ will make you go back to one-handing a weapon.

    ◆ Dual Wielding Stance
    -If you are wielding certain weapons in both the left and right hand, you will change your stance by pressing and holding △. This stance is the dual wielding stance.
    -While using the dual wielding stance, you can press L1 or L2 to attack fluidly.

    ◆ Spells
    -When using spells, you must have equipped in the right or left hand a catalyst
    -After selecting the spell used in the top key and pressing the attack button of the catalyst (L1, L2, R1, R2), you can use the spell.
    -To use a spell, you must have equipped it at the bonfire beforehand.
    -Number of uses can be restored by resting at a bonfire or using magic restoring items.
    -Pressing R2 or L2 to use a spell uses a stronger, slower version. (assumed to be almost always)

    (The translation about the bow / crossbow weapon system was a bit too unclear. I wasn't sure what it meant by, "Shoot and poised in the L1 button / R1 button." And then goes on to say, "When you are ready with both hands and bow , ( when equipped a bow in his right hand ) L1 button
    Press the or ( when equipped a bow on the left ) R1 button to switch to precision shooting mode.
    Only while you hold down the R1 button or L1 button , it becomes the precision fire mode.")

    -The jump button that is originally on L3 can be re-mapped.

    Thanks, yes I was thinking about that but I didn't think it'd be that accurate.

    anyhoo in the game guide link there are several pages some with some (to me at least) new images. A bunch of them showing the interface ^^

    When you rest at a bonfire, the enemies that you've previously killed are revived.
    -Lit Bonfire
    You can not rest at a bonfire that isn't lit. When near an unlit bonfire, press X to light it.

    -Level up
    By consuming souls, you can enhance your characters stats.

    Select the stat that you want to strengthen by moving the arrow keys up or down, and then increase or decrease the capacity value with the left and right arrow keys.
    In order to determine the stat's enhancement, check the decision.
    ◆ Spell memory
    Equip spells into the slots that you have.
    You can get more slots by increasing the stat, "Memory."
     
    To use a spell, you must equip the correct catalyst.

    The Inventory looks a bit "Elder Scolls"esque .

    Maybe we have two Inventoy screens ?
    One for the Bonfire with this Dresser Doll thing and one just like in the other Games ?

    Or *gasp* maybe i-its a Pause screen no see  ?!

    No pause hopefully. That's a defining game element in my opinion.

    I should take a look at the cleaned up version Jay. Do we still need a nephew to play?

    Also, I did look and they indicate that you can be attacked with the menu open. Yes!

    Why on earth have they changed the O actions to X?  That is the dumbest change I have seen considering how established the O button is in DeS and DkS1.  If this stays the same when the game is finished with no way to change the button in game gives me more reason to only get the PC version even if it comes out later than the console release.

    X and O are swapped on the Japanese Controller when compared to the others .

    X is their O and O is their X .
    So if you press X on a Japanese controller you would still roll .

    Nice find, Juutas. It was interesting how we could hear the phantom at the bonfire drawing his bow by mistake when he meant to light it. I think I also saw that the player was able to two-hand not only his mainhand, but also his offhand weapon.

    Man... the hitting and swinging animations seem kinda sucky and slower than usual.

    I do like the enemy agression and bonfire visuals
