Favorite Shields.

I use my ultra great sword. Muahahahah I need no shield i have my ZWEI!!!! OF DESTINY!!!!!

With is ability to stunlock a$$holes.

Also his back up buddy The Master of poking the BANE of armor Theeeeee peircing PIKE!!!!!!

Agreed. I like the heater shield the most because it's the only way for my str 9 sorcerer to get access to 100% phys damage blocking.

Grass on my back

For looks, Dragon crest shield. It has a fantastic design in my opinion. Tower shield also comes to mind.

For fights, the grass shield comes in the top of the list, for obvious reasons, or no shield at all.

I go based on looks, pretty much.

When I'm wearing plate armor:

Coolest looking overall: Silver Knight Shield

Coolest looking on my back: Effigy Shield

When I'm wearing cloth armor:

Coolest looking overall: Tower or Caduceus Kite Shield (depending on the look of the rest of my gear).

Coolest looking on my back: Usually Balder or Leather Shield.

If the Balder Shield didn't cut through my shoulder most of the time it'd be one of my favorites, but as it is the Tower Kite Shield probably is.

The dragon crest shield while playing as a dragonoid. When you breathe fire it looks like it's coming from the dragon on the shield perfectly : )

any greatshield. i need my portable fortress to take cover behind.

Greatshields. I've always been the tank or support in games so it's kind of a must to me. I really like Artorias Greatshield, though based on appearance, i'm leaning more towards Tower Shield as well as Giant Shield.
