    Hello all

    Just a real quick question I hope someone can confirm for me and maybe give insight on.

    Does raising Dex to 45 shorten the cast time of Dark Magic as it does for most sorcery magic and pyromancy?

    I ask because if so, I would probably make a low vit/end mage that could finally inflict poison via the poison sorcery. Also, I would imagine dark bead at 45 dex would be insane (Im thinking great combusts speed). The 45 Dex would be great for reducing the long time of Pursuers as well.

    Has anyone created a 45 Dex dark magic caster yet? Is it worth it?

    Just to make it clear - the increase of cast time is not that super duper insane. There was a series of youtube vids where Dex affecting Pyromancy comparison was made. Also there was a topic on this forum about that. As you can see, the increment of speed is so minor that the only benefit you can get - you will catch off guard an experienced player whos expecting you to spend a tiny bit more time casting your stuff.
    And, yeah, I haven't tested anything. Just speaking of common sense. winking

    Only if you using pyromancie, youll want the 45 dex benefit for combustion and fireballs.
    Sorcery is fast enough, to be dangerous without 45 dex
