Would have to add wolf ring to rings ninja cannot have, its vital they have no poise, what gives samurai balance

Aha forgot about the wolf ring ^^ my bad. But yeah Ninjas shouldn't have the wolf ring.

The base Uchi is a pretty deadly weapon to be honest, and with Base light armour well itll be very interesting, the fights will all be ended on who has the greater skill

I agree base weapons is fun. Only problem with this(and the un upgraded armor rule) is people will sneak in some extra dmg/protection. I noticed this when we had the starting class FC, i watched from the sidelines and saw a few obvious changes in dmg output. Also humanity plays such a large roll in protection, especially in situations like these were you are low lvl and not using upgraded gear.

Since theres not many of us and this is obviously for fun, it shouldnt be a problem. It just got on my nerves before. People think no one will notice if they put their armor to +5 or make their weapons +3 .

I actually agree with base weapons. I don't like 5 seconds fights -.- .

Parrying?

I refuse to do anything but fish for roll bs,gank,and send hate mail...... :evil: guess i cant attend.....

Although im just kidding, that method isnt 100% when it comes to countering roll bs. If i was really fishing, i would wait for a moment when you swing, and use dwgr to roll through it. You cant move while in swing animation, or cancel it. Although preforming it on a katana user is much more difficult then say a greatsword,halberd, or other heavier weapons.

i spend most of my time in Burg Mid rolling, ive gotten quite good at teachinng numpties a lesson when they BS fish, this one fatty (full smoughs but still flipping) was just constantly fishing, so i put my back to wall and parried all of his very predictable swings, like i said....numpties!

@billy, def allow parry! I was hoping someone would do a ninja build with a parry dagger just because it would be cool!

I would even say that ninja can backstab? Well anyone can backstab, just no fishing and no chain backstabbing. Everything will be recorded so we can always decide someone was fishing and rematch or something.

Also cleaned up the class descriptions some, is there any weapon between 5 and 6 wieght that a ninja should be able to use? I made their limit 5, just saw you suggested 6 gaxe,

Well the weapon weight restriction doesnt really do much, they still can use winged spear and katanas. I agree we should allow backstabs, mainly just as a way to punish parry spamming. As you said if someone is doing nothing but fishing it will be recorded.

So does anyone disagree with samurais being allowed power within? Also, does the extra 5 stat points for samurais seem fair? In my opinion that balances both out rather nicely.

Well my thinking for the weapons is to keep ninja fom using mura, server and washing pole. Could always lower it and not allow them to use winged and katanas? Instead of changing sl for samurai? So ninja would have to use bows, crossbows, daggers, shotel and other smaller blades? Would that be too much of a disadvantage?

I sort of think not being allowed any poise is pretty fair, but what do you all think?

I say no to backstabs because of the lag it just wouldn't be fair.

I think the weight limit is good. For poise you gotta remember ninjas the DWGR it's hard enough to hit someone when I have DWGR also but when i don't have DWGR...we'll see lol.

Backstabs are going to happen, even if just ot intentional. They will be discouraged, especially for samuria, but as long as no one is obviously fishing or chain backstabbing, we should be alright. And I agree, i think its pretty balanced. I originally had samurai only allowed to use one weapon at a time, but that went away.

Think giving samurai an extra 5 sl would be too much. If a samuria stunlocks a ninja , hes prob going to take most of their health, especially with low defense. Really think its pretty even. Ninjas might dominate and prove me totally wrong lol, but in that case id suggest being a ninja
