Stairs are my worst enemy!

So everytime (EVERY DAMN TIME!) I get to 99 humanity with a pvp toon I somehow manage to run my *** off the stairs in the kiln or burg. POOF! 99 humanity and 5 mill souls gone just like that. Those humanity are like my trophies and I can never seem to keep them for more than a day. Its happened 6 times now between my 2 darkwraiths. Yes I have counted.

How the heck can you fall off the stairs in Firelink?

Upper Blighttown yes, but Firelink?

The only way I can see this happening is either you've got really crappy hand-eye co-ordination, or you're neglecting to take off lock-on, resulting in severe disorientation as the camera follows a Hollow jumping over your head when you're making your ascent. So which one is it?

I dont fall off at firelink, just the kiln and burg. When I pvp I usually have youtube videos playing in the background so as im running down the stairs in the kiln I turn to look at the video for a split second and fail to run in a straight line. The burg is just me being stupid and rushing.

I'm lost here.

You fall off the stairs, die, lose humanity and souls.

So what's stopping you from going back to pick it off the ground?

It's after I died during an invasion on my darkwraith or if I get killed by an invader. So I'm falling off on my way to get my bloodstain.

Ill tell ya what's stopping you in the kiln....if you fall of the kiln stairs there's a stain glitch and there will be no stain to grab...trust me on my lvl'd 225 I lost 99 hum and 160 million souls that way...oh well!!

And what OP just said also...some of us darkwraiths like to invade were we don't get spawn ganked...so when we die sometimes its a long walk to the stain...especially if the boss is still alive and we can be vaded its often a mad careless dash to your stain!
