Do the enemies actually get harder when you leave a blood stain?
It seems to me that if you have more on the line, the harder the enemies become!

I slaughter at the old undead burg, but then when I leave 18 humanities and 20000 souls over by the boss door, suddenly these guys are coming at me airborne! They have more stamina, more strength, more health. Drives me nuts.


Maybe its just that Im just crap under pressure. Anybody else experience this?

I think it's all in your head. You have more at stake, therefore, you think the enemies are more powerful. When you have more to lose, you tend to be a lot more cautious. That's the case with me at least.

I think its in your head. Dont worry. I get worried under pressure when i have tons of souls and i am facing multiple dark spirits.

On the actual subject, I think it's just in your head. I've lost a lot of souls before my highest being around 250,000 souls none of the enemies seemed to get much harder for me granted I still had a titanite Demon to deal with but those are generally a pain for me to kill.

lately, ive cared less about my bloodstains. sure they always have 20 humanity on them, and quite a bit of souls, but really, how long would that take me to get back in reality? do i even need them on a finished build? why not use this as a chance to try speedrunning through all of the forest hunter npcs in ng++ naked?

rage generally ensues after i've actually done this kind of thing. like that time i lost 30 humanity and 1 mil souls to the four kings, went back to get the bloodstain, and died to a darkwraith because i kept trying to parry at the wrong time.
