Well considering I'm neither willing to follow nor enforce the new rules, I guess I'm done. I won't cause problems for you, but you won't see me much in this thread. Its been fun.

Wyrm's loss. You did try as did many of us, both members and nonmembers, to persuade him to a different course of action. Regardless you are welcome in the Deliverance as always. If we ever start to make a really bad decision please proceed to **** slap me with logic.

You may like POLG as well. They only restrict you to the armor; the weapons are completely optional. Oh and you can be a DM of course. The Brotherhood of the Blade may be a decent option as well but I'm not sure how restrictive they are off the top of my head.

Buffs are fair enough. I hate people whose entire build depends upon a 1 shot BS that they just go fishing for or start parry spamming (which almost never works against me unless I'm being stupid).

I don't even mind be legitimately blind parried and riposted. It's only when they go hunting for the critical, constantly parrying or BS fishing, that I get annoyed. To me thats a boring fight and shows a lack of skill. Even with a buffed weapon I have to get creative sometimes to sneak in a solid hit at a vulnerable moment or sneak around their guard. And even with a buff on the weapons I use it takes multiple hits.

Last person I had parry spam I annihilated. Then they invaded me again and went right back to the parry spam. So I ran away and unequipped one weapon, then fought like normal but using my fist. Turns out they were just trying to learn to PvP parry and we fought until they landed a few parries, didn't Riposte, after a bit they parried me then riposted, it didn't hurt too bad, and backed way off to let me heal. I healed up, put my Scythe back on and we had a legit fight, where they didn't spam parry but tried to parry smart.

It saddens me to realize that I no longer have the same respect for this covenant that I had before that ill-fated war and all that has followed since. So, in fairness to myself and to this covenant wyrm please remove my name from your members list. I do wish you luck with the covenant and hope that it flourishes.

Yeah, it's really not that bad. Had it been my call, I would not have implemented these new restrictions, but that's because I highly value player choice/freedom, but it's nothing that can't be dealt with, honestly.
