Also here is a vid of me fighting another dragon glitcher (2nd encounter) - this time I knew what to do.

I recently encountered one who did that glitch as well. Kept spitting firebombs at me...I just got annoyed and killed him. Do they just gather in the forest because that's where I found mine too.

@Rudmed - I believe that's the sunlight talisman. Oh that was a funny invasion - the host panicked & jumped off the cliff when Grass Cutter (Mura) started to go to work. Hey the camper must have decided "playing footsies" was over and whipped out a katana - so I had to get serious too . I never did find out exactly why he committed suicide though.

Hey Infamous glad to see you back doing your thing (rhyming, fighting the gank, mischief & mayhem, etc, ad infinitum). Been having so much fun in the forest (hosting and invading) - you know ye old forest will never change.But you just have to love it though. I'm ready to see some serious vids of you getting down with the cold steel bro.

I have been checking out vids of the upcoming DLC and the forest appears to always been a central part of the whole game.Also there will be so many more lovely open spaces for dueling, fisticuffs, banging , etc - I cannot wait!!

Am I the only one noticing when I invade...I find myself in more 3v1's than ever? Got me killed a couple times, along with chain BS, but I made them sweat all the way.

Also a recently proven fact is that gankers are stupid. When they see an ally get WoG off into the river...they do the exact same thing that ally did. I just don't see how they wouldn't assume I had more. Excuses are another favorite of mine..I was told using "WoG isn't skill", and so I tell him, "You're ganking and you used WoG. You're opinion means nothing to me."

He replies, "Well we are just ganking because you are using WoG." My mind was blown at this statement because how would they know beforehand that I had WoG, besides the fact that I had fought them before. Before I even used WoG they ganked me. I blocked him before his logic corrupted me.

I'm loving the GMB. Many many forest "hosts" and their phantoms are using MLGS, WoG, HCSM, or CSS from a distance. GMB pretty much nullifies those attacks.

@Rudmed - ignore their freaking pleas of unfairness - they are gankers.Everything is legal when you're fighting the gank. And you are right most gankers are stupid and expect you to do things that will make you easy pickings for them. Kill all of them with extreme prejudice - that is what Alvina desires. Keep taking it to 'em bro.

Poor int builds. although I do always laugh a little as someone GMB's on seeing my sunlight blade and get cut to ribbons xD I think I'm gona try and get back in the saddle this evening

That is the whole perk of lightning damage. very little stops it

I saw leveling my intelligence increased my lighting resistance. I litterally just stopped for a moment and was like, "Really?". Having bigger brain mass= more lighting resistance.

I would have thrown it in with resistance this way that skill is useful for something.

I think every kind of levelling that isnt one of the defencey stats increases your lightning resistance. faith does magic res does fire. but argh 2 spellswapers in the forest today. one lifehunt scythe DMB and one SLB BKGA :evil: both took a hard fall

Found another hacker in the forest that decided to pay me a visit. I was not to pleased as I was trying out a rapier build (I'm trying to become a master of most weapons.) He had about 8000-9000 health, wearing stone armor, doing cartwheels, and lets not forget...never ending stamina!

So here I am fighting him...I get invaded by a Darkwraith. Who instead of maybe watching the guy I'm fighting shrug off 1500 damage, instead charges in head first to kill me. WoG plus a smack deals with that dude, and seconds later another guy invades me. Kill him, and finally kill the hacker. The forest isn't usually this bad for me, but today...no me gusta.

Only in the forest... was co oping with wolf (1 on 1's NOT ganking) when a guy comes in with a stone greatsword and a few shenanigans later has it SLB'ed fighting him off more or less because he isnt that good.

Well, I obviously missed something because I did not expect to see a Brokewilly video of him killing forest hunters. It must be witchcraft!

Not all forest hunters understand the jolly good co-operation.

befowler - bro where ya been. I host in the forest with my gravelord toon - no ganking or banging just straight up fights/duels. But as you probably saw in the vids - the hunters (and reds) don't treat Broke too well sometimes. It's all good - I need the fight training. I'm on a mission to try to show some of the hunters not everybody is in there to bang. I usually host in the forest before my curse walks - you got to be primed before the SoVs start to showing up.

I think there will be a lot more new DkS players over the next couple of months. I fought one newbie hunter, who was able to get a BS on me (I wasn't too afraid since he was obviously lower level armed with Battle Axe). After we did the dance of death I sent him a motivational PM saying keep ur head-up and always give the gank a good fight. He responds saying he is new to the game and why does all of the gankers wear masks and constantly BS? I laughed and gave him some pointers on how to increase his odds on beating the gank. I'm going to send him the link to this thread - he's going to need all the help he can get.
