who killed you first

I died endlessly to the Skeletons in the graveyard. For some reason I completely missed the path up towards the Burg for the first 2 or 3 hours. I cannot tell you how relieved I was to finally see it, lol.

Then I crawled, at a snail's pace, through the Burg. Without exaggeration I think it took me at least a few hours to get to the Burg bonfire.

After that I died to the Burg Black Knight, to Havel, and to the Taurus Demon countless times before I ever even learned that I could lock onto enemies,

....ahhh....good times.

I originally bought the game for a friend for X-mas because he always raved about Demon Souls. I watched him play through into the Upper Burg - offline. He loved it, good gift. He again raved on how great the game was for months and I finally broke down and bought a used copy to try it myself. My first death outside the asylum was the graveyard skeletons. The NPC that has racked up my most deaths is that damnable Havel. But my most "What the !?!?!" death was in the Upper Burg after kindling the bonfire when a darkwraith came out of nowhere to kill me as I was leaving the merchant. :affraid:
That had not happened in my friend's game, because he never played it online.

my first ever playthrough saw me enter the tomb of the giants first, with hilarious results skeleton dog dead, giant skeleton dead, patches dead, half an hour later crying in the corner

I fell off the bridge in Undead Parish.

The skeletons in the catacombs (i went there first) who WOULDN'T STAY DEAD. Gave up and did everything else I could find first, then demolished the catacombs because nothing there did more than 100 damage .
Killed my first griefer there to, a total prick with a maxed fire shotel in full elite knights, pre-patch. 2/3rds of my health in 1 hit. Killed him 2hing a +10 iaito with 30 dex on one of the bridges. Didn't kick him off or bs him either, pure samurai speed brought the guy down.
