Real-Life Interferences

So, what kind of things have you had happen to you in Dark Souls that happened because of real-life problems?


Earlier I was hanging around Sens, doing some PVP. Got the message that I'd been invaded at the exact moment my doorbell rang and the pizza guy showed up.

I managed to get back right in time to see myself die.

Nothing as dramatic as that but had my daughter (2 years old) wake up yelling "daddy" right as I got to a new area a couple of times. I think she woke up when I got to Anor Londo and Demon Ruins

Power cut in the middle of invasion. Corrupted my save file, but thank god for ps+ as i only lost about 20 odd hours of play.

Had to go to the bathroom right after I got invaded in Anor Londo. I used chameleon in the titanite demon room and ran like heck to the restroom. I got back right as the invader walked in the doorway, instinctively ran to my pot-self, and cracked it open with a swift Great Club crunch.

Summoned as a phantom to help a guy in Crystal cave, right before the first turn I got a text from my girlfriend and as I checked it my phantom slipped off the crystal.

Batteries run out in middle of PvP.

Same here. It happened to me in Duke's Archive, and the worst thing was that I was invaded after I went to check on my daughter. I came back to see the invader sucking my humanity with a darkhand. I recall losing quite a few humanities that night.

Had nothing like that but my local church bell rang when i was walking past one day and i nearly air punched in front of a bus stop full of people... caught myself in time but it was close. :roll:
