DONT GIVE THE TABLETS TO YOUR PAWNS! You dont want to have to trek back to the encampment if they die. But yeah make sure you have 50 lbs free baggage.

skeletons... saurians.. hella heavy stone slabs (5 of then weighing about 9.5 pounds each) which are a quest requirement other than that theres a cyclops and some ghosts which require magic to be killed.

The cyclops is easy and the ghosts arent that annoying unless your mage hates you and sits there doing nothing.

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
And does anyone know which element of spells is the most useful. At present I only use fire on my main pawn but I might make her a Ranger.
Also do sorcerors get cool armour or do they always look like they are wearing a lame *** dress?

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
Well I am so annoyed at myself right now,I have been running around trying to get all the quest done before I go do the last one on the wyerm were when you accept it you can not go back.
Well I miss read it thinking it meant all the quest,No it meant just the bloody wyerm quest.
So I have wasted days and days trying off lose quest thinking I would get the achievement.
Oh well at least I have all the quest up to that point done, well apart from one.
I am actual struggling to find some Sour Ambrsian Meat,to complete this quest.
Also on the Softener question I believe you can buy this at the store in the capital across on the left from the blacksmiths.
Please do not quote me on this though.

I wanted her to be a magick archer but apparently pawns cant learn two skills at once though they can switch between being masters of one of the three at any time...... go figure...

They might just have disappeared from the city temporarily. I know during the fournival land buy quest at points both fourny and Jasper disappeared.

Just leave it running overnight lol. Or as the game suggests go explore/do other quests while you wait for them to appear.

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
Fighters are definitely better than warriors in nearly every situation, at least for pawns. Fighters are both faster and seem to generally survive better. All the warriors I hire are very slow and unresponsive to mobs, so even their 360 sweep swings are usually too late and one of my mages has already nuked the area.
I also have terrible problems with dragons. Can't kill or even really hurt them, and that's with going after the heart, wings etc. Put together a specific dragon hunter party at lev 38 - high fire resist, pawns with dragon fighting knowledge etc - and we still got spanked. Even a little bit of fire would disrupt spell casting so it was basically a melee fest, and we only got him down half of his FIRST life bar at the cost of dozens and dozens of healing items before I finally gave up. 45 minutes wasted. The same group can obliterate an armored cyclops or magic golem etc in 1-2 minutes tops.

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
I had a great warrior pawn called Tama. He honestly killed about as many enemies as I did. Thta Arc of Deliverance is devastating. I like my current fighter because of the flesh skewer skill. Its my finisher on most things.

Re: Dragons Dogma (Pic`s & tips)
Is the arc of deliverance that 2hd fire sword? I think I have a hired warrior with that right now. He got pounded by a dragon they're presumably immune to fire swords anyway.
I mostly play a fighter, love the skills and flesh skewer too, great after a knockdown charge. My main pawn is now a high level sorceror after a lot of time spent as a fighter. He's incredibly hard to KO, plus I designed him to look like Torgo from Manos: Hands of Fate. Watching him bumble around with a beard, staff, and ugly hat is endlessly hilarious -- and sometimes he even calls me master.

If I may pick up on the point you made about fighting the Dragon and making a specific party to attack the Drake with...
I also did the same thing.I was a little higher then your 38 though.
I was around 45.
I hired pawns at a level off around 55,so for your cap I would say summon pawns at around 45 ish.
Also when I first faced it I was a strider,so I could do no damage at all really.
It was all down to this warrior I summoned who was fantastic.
Her knowledge in Drakes was a two star.
I have faced 4 of them now, they re spawn after some time.
Although the first fight was hard it gave me insight into how to best fight them.
My point is I would summon a warrior for the hitting power and a fighter to give defense and distraction.Mage for healing and I also found having a mix up of a fighter or sorcerer is fine as long as the sorceror as high knowledge and good spells for the fight.
Keep at it good sir you will slay that first troublesome Drake.
