did a quick test

with two parry reposte, on first shield weilding hallowed near the sewer. with a +13 bandits.

1st with hornets only ='ed 1070

2nd w/ hr & rtsr ='ed 1679

Yup i gots the bandit knife +15 and 50 dex plus hornet ring and im overkilling anything im lucky enough to parry.

The parrying knife helps but i really am a kill or be killed build. Whatever happens the fights like 10 seconds max.

(No vit no endurance, just int and dex from the start)

It all stacks: hornet's ring, red tearstone ring, power within, dragon torso roar, channeller's trident dance, etc. See: youtube.

Rapier would do more then Dagger.

it has the highest crit multiplier.. 150% but the Rapier has 110% and a higher base damage. and i believe Rapiers get an extra bonus for Ripostes.

Ultra Strength weapons with their insane Base damage would actually do the most, but their swing speed is so slow if you miss time it it leaves you wide open.

Nope buffs just add a flat damage to crits.

you haven't used a slab yet so just get your dagger and a rapier to +14 and test them both out.

I have a +15 bandits knife, a +14 parry knife (silly) +14 painting guardian. I havent the resources to test the rapier but ill give it a grind.

im currently trying to test this in pvp esp. i've use a bandits since the game came out. but i've found i've rec more dam from rapiers so much so i had to see. i'll keep this forum posted "rant has done a lot of testing, and glutebruh's got the right idea about base damage, i personally hadn't thought about that.

yeah. My str guy's Reposte is ridiculous. I haven't done any crit based characters (Only dex character I have is Bow/P. Dagger), but when I did my ONLY reposte to Gwyn (I suck so bad with Gwyn. I'm fine with ANY other humanoid. But no, Gwyn's just too much pressure or something...), I had power within, hornet's ring, 46 str, and a +15 Demon's Greataxe, and I did over half his health. Granted, I didn't see the #, but I believe I did 1.4k on my way to Gwyn on his Black Knights. (Btw, this is the most amount of damage I've done in one hit *weak smile*)

I just wish I had 2 shot Gwyn. That would have been awesome. *sigh* I clenched so hard when I fought him, my teeth hurt afterwards. I had to eventually give up the reposte, and do what I do best: tank.
