I like your avatar, it rings of Monopoly nostalgia with added bloodshed.

Damn, now my comment seems completely unrelated to anything. I liked Monopoly man more, but I have no problem with this one either. Just pick one that represents what you lke, stand for, or what interests you.

Re: The "let it out" thread.
Jason has puked over 50 times today, this isn't an exaggeration. Literally anything that he ingests he will violently vomit back up within 10 - 20 minutes. He cannot even ingest paracetamol or ibuprofen because he just vomits it back up - he has a constant headache and diarrhea too :/ Sucks - but at least I get to care for him today - but he won't be up for what I had planned tonight.

Starting the move today. I always get a little depressed when I'm moving out. Like a chapter of my life is over. Even if that chapter was particularly bad. I guess I'm just a sentimental guy. Moving in is always fun though.

I'm just moving across town. Thanks though. I know it's probably a little silly. I was actually pretty miserable in this apartment, all said and done. I just can't help being a little blue.

How about purple?... hold it longer, it will turn black.
I know the feeling, I hated my house too when I moved out of it, and I just moved to a different area of town... more central, actually. I am sure you will be fine. it ain't gonna kill ya, hopefully. We'll see, eh?

Yeah, I'll definitely be fine. I move around a lot. Seems like at least once a year, and I always do this. I can't help it.

Well, as long as ya got a good controller in your hands, you'll be fine. Lordran never moves away, eh?
Mmmm... it is so good to have artificial universes. Perhaps some day I will create my own. That way, whenever I move from one place to another in this supposed natural universe, I can bring my artificial ones as well. Wouldn't that be swell? You are somewhat moving, but yours somewhat staying.
If I have an artificial universe, though, I would go to space... or perhaps do things that others never did. Probably brutal too, I love those types of worlds... Hmmm.

Have you ever played Second Life? I never have personally, but I'm told that it's kind of like that. Like you basically just have a digital self, and the possibilities are limitless.

Re: The "let it out" thread.
No. I just looked it up in google. Doesn't look good at all.
And I don;t mean to replicate this world... that would be boring. I can do **** here any ways, I don't need an artificial one. no, I think making these artificial worlds to be similar, yet different as well.
Besides, games are best for what you can not do in reality, rather than what yo can replicate. That's why I don't appreciate much races, shooters, or other games... except for the few that defy reality of similarity. Doesn't need to be mystical, just not the same, or very close to it.

Si. I have a gun. I also have a vehicle. Now, I can shoot and drive whatever I please to where ever and whoever. (Not that I have done it, don't think that)
I like reality, I do. But for games, it seems to have an interesting view when something... strange, comes to play. something that seems mystical, or something that has not been discovered or invented yet. The ideas of these artificial worlds is what interest me... make me want to make the same things to be reality, in a sense.

Re: The "let it out" thread.
I'm inclined to agree. I didn't find it appealing either, or I probably would have tried it. Evidently a lot of people do though. What I find interesting about it is that the currency that exists in the game can be exchanged for real life currency. I can't remember the exchange rate, but the fact that there actually is one is a pretty amazing concept. I guess there are people that have in game professions, like they open skin stores and the like, and they literally make their real life livings doing it. Like if Dark Souls operated in a similar way Mildred could have supported her family with her store of the damned. I just think that's a neat concept.
If I remember correctly the in game currency is called the Linden Dollar.

Re: The "let it out" thread.
Yes, that idea is interesting. However, I do remember other forms that do this as well. Runescape and WoW come to mind... I think they also made an online currency independent from others. What was it, blip coin?
Any ways, I think that escaping to a second world to live a life you wished you live... in which you can actually obtain in the natural world You live is, is somewhat... revolting. I do not know if I should feel angry or sad for those in seek of doing things they are afraid or guilty to do, or are unable to do it due to handicaps or other forms.
Hm... still, my problems have not lead me to escape to a world like this... nor am I handicapped. let me check my legs... nope, their fine.

Re: The "let it out" thread.
2nd life is famous for people making money off the game. Fashion designers in the game get hired in real life by companies in paris to design digital clothes and stuff.
I have a gun and car, too. I broke my ankle driving safely, and i dont want to end lives. So need for speed and cod can be fun. Because of the lack of consequences. I would not do these things in real life. Haha!

Re: The "let it out" thread.
Yeah I don't disagree with you at all. I think in the major gist of things you're right. That logic is basically why I have never gone for the MMO type games. I have such an addictive personality, especially where video games are concerned, that I know if I got into a game with no official 'ending' then I would just play forever, and I'm not willing to do that to myself.
I didn't know WoW did that?

A lot of mmo's have some way to translate real life currency and in game. Users in TERA can buy a month subscription and sell it for gold ingame.

Re: The "let it out" thread.
Like I said, fear and guilt
By the way, about Mildred.... sweetheart got accused by others for what she was doing, that was tragic. Wish she was still doing what she liked doing. Still, I tried to get a trade with her about 4 times, and I never got any trades actually done. Grr.
And for the lack of endings... hm. Such ideals of repetitive strife in the course of gaming would be displeasing, and the MMOs re also displeasing. Their needs to be more... yet, no one has accomplished this. Second Life is a model of the real world, and the artificial world is just what it is: uncreative. Something that puts them in a situation where they may not be able to ever experience, such as an alien world, the apocalypse, the past times, the future times, or other forms are usually good to explore... if they are done right.
For example... If I had an Massive Online Game, I would make one of survival horror, where the select few try to survive in a city against the billions of organic killers, even though they can multiply billions, if not hundreds of millions, within minutes. Or, perhasp a game where it separates two players, a fighter and a commander, in which they try to obtain power for the army they lead in a system, sector, or even a galaxy.
Mmm... some things we can not do. But no one has thought of ever implementing them. If they did, they always are absent of something, or it is 'broken'. Hm.
