Forest of the Damned - Covenant Event (3/24/12)

Wait a second, I have a new option in the conference chat, I'm going to see if I can join the voice bridge. I can't speak but I can listen.

for those DMs that are not having success inside try invading by the bonfire see what happens.

Ultra, thanks for the confirmation. It turns out this has become sad tidings however. I first spotted him killing a gold phantom out of nowhere with a bs while I chopped down the host. A couple more thrusts and swipes and our foes fell before us. I was able to get a bow in as we faded back to our owin worlds. As you can imagine I was thrilled to see a powerful ally in action. We have met several more times since and no longer am thrilled at the encounter. Next we met I had been called to the world of a gravelord who waved and bowed his allegiance to the cause. St. Orstein stabbed him while he bowed. I assumed this was an accident. I then was called by Alvina to another farmer's world where another hunter was waiting for help. We were engaged in a 3v2 and things weren't looking good. Darkwraith St. Ornstein arrived and the host backed off. Turns out it was to hide behind St. Ornstein. After beating my ally I was able to get to the mushroom parents and use my trident. We barely squeaked out alive thanks to over 1000 damage per mushroom punch. We've met a few times since then with St. Ornstein always a wraith helping a farmer group. I admit he's gotten me a few times but I fear he exaggerated his prowess to you. He is stubbornly locked into spear use and often uses combo attacks. If any of our allies see him, block his first two attacks and immediately parry/riposte. Hid aggression is his downfall. I am sorry to bring such news to a worthy comrade such as yourself Ultra. I pray his treachery to the cause of the day is not followed by any brigade who adored him. Keep up the fight!

You sure that was the guy ultra was talking about?

Possibly, it could have been someone using a similar name as well. If he is indeed notorious I wouldn't say people doing such a thing is impossible. I can't really have an opinion unless I fight along side him myself or he invades my world while I GL.

St. Ornstein is a DM. He has also been alive for most of this event, only dieing 3 or so times. May be there is some space at the end of the deadringer's gamertag or the like, but St. Ornstein would never help farmers. He was one of the ones that was killed the most as a new player, out of all of us. He never got over it.

If I remember correctly, he led the book of the guilty from about when Dark Souls was sold, till about three months ago.

I couldn't believe it either, that's why I wanted to confirm spelling with you. I've double and triple checked the name.

I just looked through PSN names looking for anyone using variations of the name you gave me. I did not find any copy cat accounts similar to the spelling you confirmed. I don't see a point in having him check my tag as I doubt he will admit to his deeds, particularly as he had vowed to assist.

The status of St. Ornstein does not matter either way, the invasion is still going on. By the way Skare the conference Chat is back up.

damnnn!! non stop fighting for a gravelord..had an extended 3 vs 1 where I would kill one and another would invade. that was too intense.

Same thing happened to me at one point Dx, I actually ran out of spells on my GL haha, had to switch from my rapier to my MLGS just to survive I was just constantly getting jumped. Being a GL when that happens does remind me of hunting in the forest against campers.

By the way these where also DMs and FH besides SoVs. Because some SoVs did not yield eyes after I killed them.

Also, I just invaded with him. The host wore the mask of the child. As such, we chain kicked him from the covenant room, across the bridge, down the stairs, and straight off a cliff.

Tolvo, I wield a pike on the off and and on the right hand a large club and a gravelord sword. It helps to toxify them and poison them while dealing with other ones. I just wish my pike was a chaos pike.

You can't have special characters like . or - in a name so if St. Ornstein is the tag is not valid.

I know, I've seen a lot of friendly fire as a GL, but oh well. It does make things quite interesting.

I don't have a Chaos Pike, can't go through the demon's ruins on this toon. I have a channeller's trident though haha!

Yea the first set of 3 all came at me with CSM. I managed to pull one gravelord dance but the fungy was never able to get me that talisman that i soo badly need.

They all also had the damn moonlight sword. I am actually surprised that I managed to survive LOL

Any one out there I need a thorolund talisman SL 126 gravelord and a chaos pike

I just tried to send him a message and I was told that the gamertag does not exist on xbox live. So at least we know its available if anyone wants to use it

Yep and I just saw a disasters are gone message so i know I am not alone



I would be wrecking more fools if could get my hands on some of those.

I saw some signs last night on my GL from three different GL's when I was on actually. Not at the same time but still it was a cool sight to see myself constantly cursed. I actually found a BP mushroom, I killed it!
