Oh, and faith opens up slb or dmb as a buff for the washing pole or wog. you only have the 1 slot so you have to pick. (with a dss build i'd go wog, if the washing pole is your main, slb)

if you go dss drop the pole to +10 then go lightning, its stronger

Thats damn good advice pirate he really needs to up his vitality so IMO moms mask and RoFaP are a must. Otherwise he might have a very hard time.

I think you are referring to the mother's mask (Mask of the Mother) - it increases your HP by 15%. Other than the HP increase it does not offer any other buffs/abilities.

Thanks for all the advice everyone. My main is still going to be the washing pole. but i was looking for a back up weapon with a bit more stagger ability. what does faith do for the DSS? will a lightning washing pole really do more dmg than +15 even with my 40 dex?

If you can use it, the Great Scythe also has epic range , decent stagger, and good damage. The major bonus there is that you can use it to hit around the trees, and you can hit nearly a 180 degree ring around you. Perfect if you have to give yourself room in a 3v1.

Greetings friends and companions of the lands of Lordran. After speaking with several friends of mine, we have all decided to join in on the action. With this post, you here by have an additional 56 DMs and 19 DWs behind you. I personally will be on the whole time, and I have a feeling that even more of my home forum friends will rise up and join the cause. I have spread the word as well is I could. We all grow eager for the carnage to start.

Great Scythe is in the catacombs I believe and highly recommend it.

It is indeed in the catacombs. You get it by jumping off the second rotating bridge, on to a circular ledge below.

And nice pictures. I enjoy the 'staying by the stairs' one a great deal.

If only there was a way of checking stats + equitment of your character on Darksouls without actually turning on the console. bit like an in-depth version of the current xbox web where you can access your XBL account

yes. but if its your main i'd put the rest in faith and set slb, whitch will add 300+ damage to the +15 for a minute or so, then switch to the dss when it wears off. And faith is very important for the dss, its not worth it otherwise

We seem a touch shy on the ps3 end of things based on what i've read. I'm trying but my playstation can only do so much. A last ditch effort to spread the word would be greatly appreciated (for those of you with computers).

First off, I am PS3. My PSN is the same as my name.

Now, on to the good news: My legion has grown exceptionally. Adding the people that were already coming, I have made a list of the covenants that will be joining from my home forum:

I also have reason to believe that more will join between now and the 24th. I will re-post a new list when more join.
