Has anyone else realized the entire tone of every thread here for a few weeks is now a constant pissing match between everyone and anyone?
I think it started with those "PTW" threads.

I think r1 spamming is cheap too, but I can think of a million and one other things that are cheaper.
MoM, HSWC, Wolf's, Pursuers, etcetcetc.<--all circumstantial.

This thread did nothing but piss me off. I'm done asking for help. Everyone gives off this tone that their better than everyone, and that you should always know what to do and when to do it and that everytime even if you know what to do, it works out EVERYTIME. My *** mistake.

It doesn't work every time. But the fact that you had a shield that has the most parry frames in the entire game, and you were up against someone who was attacking constantly, and then you come here to complain when all you had to do was parry one time and you would have gotten it... that's just not right.TooLeet wrote:This thread did nothing but piss me off. Man I would love to have 10 different invaders to PvP against, even if they all were using the same build.
I hosted in the Forest for 3 hours last night and got 4 invades. Total. By 3 different people.
On a good night I'll get 4 invaders an hour, but they'll be from a pool of about 5 guys, so it's just the same people over and over.

I agree with you that Poise tanking and R1 spamming the Gold Tracer is a pretty skill-less playstyle, and annoying, but I agree with Dibs and the others too that everything takes skill, just how much is up for debate.
Nothing is more true than this though: Everyone has a Kryptonite.
I'm with you, I have a serious problem againt the Gold Tracer. Because the bleed build up is so quick, and with stellar Australian ping I often can't roll cancel the bleed tick because even when I do, most of the time I still take the damage.

This is what you should have done. Take out the shield and wait for hit and parry. you would have won.

I sat there and parry spammed. It never got him. He was sitting there tearing me apart while i was lookin like an idiot. So i backed up and tried different tactics that didn't work.

You have to time the parry. I killed parry spammers with target shields with a chaos blade r2 because they timed it wrong. each weapon has it's own timing for a parry. What you have to do is find the timing.

My build had 62 poise. How many times can you be hit with 62 poise until your poise breaks by the gt.
