    Does hitting a player stunned by the roar constitute as a "counter attack?" In the sense that leo's bonus will also be added if thrust attack?

    No. The damage bonus from hitting a stumbling character is a different kind of critical.

    No, only when they try to attack back or you hit them out of a roll. That being said, it's still normal counter damage added to the roar, and still very powerful to roll Leo with Dragon, I've gotten some ridiculous hits.

    If you attack them right after your roar, no, but if you manage to land a hit on them while they are rolling away from it THAT is a counter hit, so work on the timing on that.

    A counter hit only occurs when you hit someone while they are attacking. Hitting someone mid roll does not count as a counter hit and as such is not effected by the Leo Ring.

    Well then it counts as a some other kind of critical hit, since it adds roughly 40% dmg bonus if you hit your opponent while they are rolling, with dragon roar that should be kept in mind.

    That's simply not true Dibs. A counter hit occurs when the opponent is hit in the middle of any animation other than normal walking that is not an i-frame or the stunlock and weapon toggle animations. Guardbreak gives a special and more powerful counter.

    While it may be a counter hit per se, I meant it would not be effected by the Leo Ring. It would get the extra 40% damage, but not the usual 68% you would receive from Leo counters against an attacking opponent.

    Also untrue. I've hit people out of rolls and dash jumps and gotten the same amount of Leo bonus. The Leo ring boosts all counter damage, not just counter damage from simultaneous attacks.

    i'm 100% certain your incorrect, as Epic Name Bro has an in depth video on this mechanic. The leo ring bonus doesn't add damage to rolling, running, and guard break counters, only to mid attack counters.

    Very interesting. The instability damage while running probably explains why it is so easy to kill people with CSS if you shoot them in the back as they try to run away.

    Re leo ring, a dragon leo ring build using a greatsword (R2, and roll attack R1s) and a heavy crossbow/avelyn is very effective.

    More ideas! This thread is really helping get the creative juices flowing for me. I have played this game over 1000 hours but dragon body is something I don't have much experience with.

    When I first made a Dragon, SL120 way before patch 1.05, I hated it. It wasn't until the last few months (with all the SL55 tourneys going on) that I discovered how good it can be. I use a Halberd and Estoc with him, I'm making a new SL100 Dragon and I'm gonna test a few weapons with him. I'm thinking quality build.
