Sorry for the double post, but I just took a quick break at work and finished my third design. A little backstory even though you've seen a couple variants here before.
When I originally designed this I wanted something bright, yet sinister. Basically a design contrast to the atmosphere but still fitting. After doing the Bear and Vortex shields below (after they were also made into Kite Shields) I lost some faith in this design. Someone else didn't though....so after a a little encouragement I have finalized the....

I tried suggesting the GSoA more with the design but it ended up making the overall effect lesser since it looked like the GSoA welded to a Tower Shield (have to use the border) with a blue face painted over it. I did add some textures on a layer between the design and the template to give it a little more depth. Hope it works, I'll be submitting it ASAP and will place the link in my sig assuming it gets put up.

Gotta say, my fav so far is your Large Bear Shield. . the only shield on the site to infuse genuine intergalactic lore in a Dark Souls context by way of a face-ripping constellation! Kudos indeed!!

Lol.....If they allowed descriptions, I would use that one. Thanks Eminus! I'm also delighted that the constellation wasn't lost in the whole "face-ripping" motif

Hi All,
I designed a shield called "Mask of the Enemy", it features the facial skin of a giant stretched and nailed to a round wooden shield with a iron frame bearing arcane runic inscriptions.
This shield was meant as a warning to other enemies, showing them what their fate could be if they enganged its bearer in battle.

I just stumbled across this thread and wanted to share my design with you guys. Very interested what you think about it (note: I had to add the shield's round edge that way, otherwise they wouldn't accept the design, I think without the round edge it looks better, but anyway, what do you think?).
