sonofabitch!!! so my wife was almost done with our most intricate one only for phtoshop to crash as she was almost done, we're so pissed we're not doing that one anymore, maybe vote for the one on my sig since we might not make any more lol

That is my entry - I wanted something simple that you would be able to distinguish easily from 20 feet away in game, something elegant, almost ceremonial. I made it black/gold because it's a pleasing colour combo to my eyes. The idea is that an inexperienced knight had the phoenix emblazoned on his sigil for luck, after he turned undead and was forced to set out from home.
For the phoenix (which took a long time to draw) symbolises the sun, death and rebirth - and I thought that fit well, considering in Dark Souls whenever you die, you are "reborn" from the ashes of the bonfire.
If you like it, please give me a vote! I'm in the process of reading through this thread and giving out votes.
