Looks like they didn't like my Miyazaki Tribute shield. Oh well... I blame it on my awful painting skills.

Thanks. I drew directly onto the template in Photoshop using a tablet, then added some texture with stock images just to make it look a bit more flashy. The henna flower in the centre is actually a tattoo design I'd been working on for a while, thought it fit in somehow.

I was going to add some more evidence of wear and tear, maybe a few deep scratch marks but I actually think it looks quite nice as it is. Kinda like a once beautiful, ornate shield that's been left to rust under a pile of bones somewhere.

There are some really great designs so far though, gonna be tough to pick a winner but I hope I'm in with a shot to at least make the short list.

True. Didn't really think of that. I'll try it later on and see how it looks. Might end up looking too busy or cluttered though. I don't know.

Really like that Painted Shield. +1 vote from me.

Already given a vote for the ENB shield further up. Not something I'd necessarily use in-game, but I really like the design.

I think the really early guys had the advantage or it would be higher still. . .I hope they dont just judge off pure numbers. .

I would go ahead and make it more shaped like Greatshield of Artorias, if possible. I think the curve towards the bottom of the shield is what helps to really accentuate the motion of the sphere of light. And to reply to the question in your message, yes, I would be honored. (:

I'm not sure I can do much to make it look like the GSoA. I'll see if I can suggest it a little with the design and submit it tomorrow. And I'll roll with that name

I'm actually glad it's not all on the Facebook votes. They do thirty of each type of shield based on votes then the developers select the winners. Just praying that there's not thirty popular bad designs. And I agree, I don't want that one in game.

Yeah, not too keen on the big pig head at all. Tally shield owns though!

Simple idea executed sublimely. That shield is really cool.

I actually dont mind the pigs head design too much, but its kinda more 'Lord of the Flies' than Dark Souls, just wouldnt sit too well in the game.
I do agree with the ENB thing playing far too big a part in the voting too, ok I like his video's but c'mon its Dark Souls, nothing to do with ENB, fricken stalker fest!

I hate to say it but the pig design is way off base. Great design for something else but I wouldn't vote for it even though i like his commentary. If he really wanted to win it he should have gone for one of the main themes in DkS2... I'm holding back on submitting my designs till next week.

I know right? she had no idea what to do and then she did it last night in less than half an hour(at work lol). she said she did it because out little man loves bees so she did it for him lol, it came out really cool. we're gonna do two more, there's one that we're both working on together, I'm not as good as her when it comes to actually executing the design so she's the one that doing them and I have some ideas and pictures that I showed her, we should be done by sunday.
