Damage over roleplay

Hey guys. So i'm making my thief build, and i'm going to use a bow. I am also a darkmoon and would like to semi-focus around that fact. The bow I was going to use is Pharis's bow because of great dex scaling, but I really love the look of the darkmoon bow and would love to use it. Will my choice of bow influence my damge enough to offset the looks? I really want to use Darkmoon bow with moonlight arrows, to keep wit hthe theme. Cheers. Also, I was going to use thief armour, but it's not as feasible as i'd like. I'd like something with a little poise, but so I can fast roll and look like a darkmoon. Cheers.

You can try using an Occult Composite Bow. Isn't as cool as the Darkmoon Bow but is faster than the Pharis Bow and hits a lot harder than the Darkmoon Bow.

If you are using a bow as your only weapon,do whichever makes you happier.You will never get much damage per hit,no matter which non-dragonslayer/Gough's bow you use.You will only get wins by learning when to dodge and when to fire,not with the minimal damage difference.

It's just armor but it's 55 poise and looks theifish, I'm not sure if you like the default thief stuff better or the hollow thief set but with just a medium pair of gauntlets and some of the lighter poised legs you can get decent poise vaues with wolf.

dodge and use compisite bow with ocult or maybe not if you want scaling.
