    The Gargoyles Hala on Mugen claims it does two things.

    It increases resistances by 25%
    And it adds a small increase to bleed, poison, and toxic buildup.

    So does that mean MY bleed fills up faster, or I bleed out opponents easier?

    Neither, I believe. I believe what it means is that your build-up meter grows by 25%.

    Can I ask why they are listed differently then?
    Bloodshield
    Bleed resist: +50%
    Poison resist: +50%
    Curse resist: +50%

    Halberd
    Small increase to bleed, poison, and toxic build-up
    25% increase to bleed and poison resistance

    Good question. But I don't think any other explanation makes sense. It's not a bleed weapon so why would it aid in the bleeding out of opponents and, as far as I know, it's a weapon noted for the good resistances it provides so I don't believe it would make you more susceptible to status effects.

    Pendant, do you happen to have a G.Halberd on one of your characters? I wouldn't be opposed to testing this, because if this weapon can be offhanded to increase bleeding volition, imma do it.

    Neither wikis corroborate the buildup though, so I don't think it actually does that.

    Sure it's not just written by two different sources?

    The halberd thing could be referring to the way when you equip it it actually gives you a build-up temporarily to show the effects of the resistances kicking in. Kinda like a vaccination.

    Nothing. It doesn't make you do more buildup, it doesn't cause you to do more damage when you bleed someone, and it doesn't make you take more buildup, or take more bleed damage.

    It's a misleading choice of wording from mugen.
