The point is to use only the composite bow unless I have absolutely no choice (tracer), feel like **** around (fire tempest), or feel like making other people alt+f4 (black flame)

Do these stats look alright? The grain ring is non-negotiable. Need it to make up for the amount of time I'll be standing still while firing the bow. Any attempt to integrate me into the hollow waistcloth fanclub will be ignored.

You're not playing to win.

Once I get used to the build, I expect to have a decent number of victories. Most people only have to deal with bows for a few seconds at the start of the match, while they try to poison each other. I'll be able to catch quite a few by surprise.

If they try to spam spells or pyromancy, I can fish a mean BS. If they're running a buff build, I pop a grass and ninja flip until it runs out.

Most importantly, it'll be fun.

Without changing any of your stats, I'd roll like this: 32 poise version

Reason being, 20 poise is 1 point off from being a breakpoint. The 31+ poise is for katana users, that is all.

Bow builds are extremely effective, especially with the DWGR.

It really doesnt matter how you play your poise, I was just trying to maximize your equipment load.

Nice build, mine is very similar. I win all the time and have tons of fun.

FYI bows don't get any good past 27 Str. You might want to use Gough' Greatbow so build around that.

My current toon actually uses a pure archery build. I only use the composite bow, and I use the parrying dagger in emergencies.

I have kept my SL at 66. I might eventually go to 120, idk. I like the leo ring, but when I am sniping I will use the hawk ring, and when things get too up close and personal I like the wolf ring.
