Farming humanity in TotG
I use a chaos server, ring of evil eye, and sanctus.

Re: Farming humanity in TotG
I was planning to go try the baby skeleton bit, but my friend recommended the ghosts in the Chasm of the Abyss. He has a ludicrous amount of humanity on average and wasn't too bothered after losing 50 to an unfortunate backstab from one of the Four Kings (bloody gankers).
The depths are a good place for low level peeps though. Murdering rats endlessly with a good item rate gives you plenty of humanity, which you can then add to buff it further. It's a never ending cycle!

The thing about the baby skellies is their respawn. And with a chaos server+RotEE+sanctus=max health regen to negate any toxin damage.

I just use whatever weapon I have that can kill the rats in 1 hit (2 for the medium sized ones) which is usually me two-handing my katana.

Having two argetlam's running around is confusing. XD
Anyways, before the DLC I farmed in Tomb of the Giants a lot on those baby skeletons. Now I just go to the Chasm of the Abyss in the DLC and farm the sprites.

Re: Farming humanity in TotG
Kill them all, then use manus's bonfire to warp back to the dungeon bonfire. Pretty simple .
They're spread out in a circular way. The fastest way is: first the ones before the bridge that take you down towards manus with a caster overlooking you. Instead of going down the bridge, you drop to the lower sections where you find that one voice thing. Take a right at the v section towards the opening where you save Sif and the elevator that takes you in front of the arena(there's a few outside but don't go in the opening since those don't respawn. Then go back to the v section and go to the left which will take you to where the caster was. After that, just go down the bridge and kill any on the way before using Manus's bonfire to warp back to the beginning and repeat the process.

Elemental Gargoyles kill them in 1 hit on NG(2 for the big ones), it should take a few more on NG+ and beyond. Make sure to bring plenty of

Nowadays I'll just farm the humanity ghosts if I have access there. I like to use sorceries, spears and halberds against them.

Lol at the days when having 99 humanity items and 99 loose humanity had people worship you as if you were a god.

Most folks use a couple of AoE spells on that big concentration of spirits in the Chasm, and then homeward bone back to the bonfire. You can do runs from the Chasm bonfire, but I prefer starting in Township and then going out through the arena and down the elevator that pops you out near Sif's cave. The walk is a bit longer, but you can sneak up on that caster up on the cliff from behind without risk and avoid aggroing all the spirits prematurely.

Thats the way i farm. I use a Silver Knight Spear, is so awesome for this task. Long reach, good dmg and that strong attack one-handed that can clear the little ones if you get cornered.

Those bastards have stun-locked me and raped me almost the count that the Four KINGS OF DOUCHEBAGGERY did.... Well...Silver Knight Shield fixed that problem.
