stop with the whineing.

why are peope just ***** about back stabs. yes the lag makes them impossible, yes some people exploit them to the point of ridiculousness. BUT it is an essential part of the game, daggers would be near useless, glitchers would be impossible and it would make the game less realistic, if someone leaves their back open i am in real life going to pummel them to death if not close to it. my 2c

as do i, but its like the new trend. and people seam to forget that BS is critical for certain points of the game. yes, i have whined before, yes getting BS pisses me off but thats why i have now leanred the secret of "stop exposing your back when they are obviously going for the kill.

Eh. I'm fine with backstabs.

Though its considered at least to me a cheap thing. But it does tell you to never let your guard down. As with all trends this "complaining" will fade in time.

I find it highly satisfying to plunge my BFS into the spines of gankers. The more the merrier after-all

It seems like a subject that won't stop popping up that has already been covered. The backstab system just needs work in PVP and PVE it doesn't need to be removed. I feel like there are too many threads dedicated to this one subject.

Now I'm in the mood to go backstab some gankers in the forest.

For me, bs is fine when given the chance. BS fishers, thats other business.

They should just make it so only smaller weapons can BS. Just because you can hold your huge Greatsword in one hand, doesn't mean it's easy to quickly ram it through someones spine.

Big weapons would do extra damage to the back, but wouldn't be an actual Backstab, so it wouldn't be insane death.

This way, if you see your opponent with a Dagger, you know you should probably watch your back.

Backstabs aren't going anyway where so why complain imo

So we all need to deal with it.

People don't hate backstabs, they just hate lag. I've been legitimately backstabbed many a time, and though I do feel it needs fixing for larger weapons (bit silly really), I've accepted it's my fault 99% of the time. I've only ever really hated them when some guy backstabbed me from the front due to lag, and that's where the problem lies.

Makes no sense, in a real sword fight, I can stab you in the back with a big sword even easier than a small knife . Reach alone allows it. The axe, mace and some other weapons have more of a back slam animation, which seems plausible in battle too.

On the lag issue... If your constantly seeing lag, might be your connection. I have fairly crappy dsl and don't see a lot of lag issues.

WE helped create Dark Souls. We wanted whips...we got em. We wanted more ways to invade...we got it. We wanted more magic...we got it. Our ideas right now are creating the world of Dark Souls 2...and its gonna be <3

The complilation of ideas can only lead to a higher likelihood of efficient application upon completion, if our ideas do indeed still have any influence. Complaining will inevitably be a part of it.

Has FROM really just cast us aside without any regard to our thoughts or ideas........Ima gonna go wit nooooooo on this one. I haven't gotten everything I wanted from FROM since I started playing Demon's Souls, but I'm happy as hell. The souls series is irreplaceable to me. It stands as one of the best games in history in my opinion. I digress.

From what I've seen in 2 years, I bet this forum will have the most intriguing, logical, and well thought out ideas available for our reading enjoyment as well.
