A game set in the Dark Souls universe? Yes, maybe.

I wouldn't mind a Souls game that expands on the Lore. Maybe an adventure as one of the other characters, or something set before the player escapes from the Asylum...

I'm for it coming to the Wii U, I'll be buying one in the future and if I saw Dark Souls 2 for it, I'd probably buy it for that system over the PS3 personally. The main issue I can see is how well the port is done, usually companies don't try when porting over to nintendo systems because of a ridiculous mentality that hurts the gaming industry.

As for Hand Helds, I think maybe a souls game could be interesting, but not Dark Souls 2. Perhaps if they made a turn based RPG based off the souls series just for fun, but the actual mechanics and gameplay of Souls just doesn't go well with the way Handhelds work, or the market which they have.

Darksouls on vita = me playing it everywhere and never getting anything done again. Also my use of profanity in public places going up...

It has 1080p, etc. It came out somewhat recently. The launch line up isn't that great, but future games look pretty decent.

I'd be fine with a high definition Dark Souls game on it, since to my knowledge it actually has the greatest visual capacity at least until we learn more about the next Microsoft and Sony systems, also excluding. PC of course, if they set it up so that the machine's graphics are first consideration over the weakest machine's, PC will end up on top.

That's actually another issue, if they port it from the PS3 or 360 to Wii U, that doesn't mean the graphics will be updated for the Wii U.

i don't think it would serve the franchise to release a Dark Souls cut and paste on a handheld platform. now if FROM were to develop a "Mini" Souls spin-off/successor specifically designed for a handheld, i would have to get me a handheld ASAP.

Same here, DARK souls did not work as a port to PC. Atleast when it first came out. It required the modding community to fix many of its problems, especially the fact you couldn't change the controls for the pc ersion.
