Honestly, I don't know. But what I do know is that her name matches her unique gift. Vinyl records are Scratch -ed by the pin on the record player which makes an awesome tune.

Alright Ponies, here's all info i got for DJ PON3 (< Her official Name as far as i know).
Vinyl Scratch first appeared in "Green isn't your Colour" for exactly 7 Seconds .
She got popular and got tons of fanart (what is it with this fandom and background Ponies ?).
Most Fanart showed her having red Eyes so it was a huge Deal for some People when it was revealed in "A Canterlot Wedding Part 2" that she has the same Eye Colour as Rainbow Dash .
And she made another appearance in "Magical Mystery Cure" which means that she probably lives in Ponyville .
And thats about all i know about her
