Why'd you like it? Rather, was there anything redeeming at the very end, or is it just a difference between our preferences?

The episode made sense. Remember what Celestia said at the beginning of the Crystal Empire?
She said something along the lines of, """We'll know she's one step closer to being ready"""
In todays episode Twilight has finally succeded, and is ready--no..is taking on the role of being a princess.

Not that I have a problem with that, this shows music rivals' disney if you ask me.
I see that Discord got the short end of the stick and wasn't invited to the corination....

I'll check it out probably. I just think it could really disappoint me which is something I'd like to avoid if at all possible.:|

If it alleviates your fears at all, I thought this was the highest quality ending done for a season yet, and the Allicorn business doesn't really detract from it.
Though am I the only one who wants the CMC to get their marks so they aren't so prevalent in the darn side shows? Annoying tiny whiney ponies....

Even though the Wedding was infinitely better than this (just look at the Dresses, i'm suprised Rarity didnt die of shock) i admitt the Alicorn part is pretty much ridiculled from the first moment .

I don't think there was a minute in the entirity of the episode that WASN'T sung to be honest.
I'm not saying the wedding was bad or anything, but I just thought this was the best.
And the CMC3 can go to the glue factory.

The Wedding is the best thing to ever come from MLP .

But i was a bit biased against the coronation anyway .
I rewatch it tommorow when my minds clear .

Oh don't get me wrong, the Wedding has my favorite song in the entire series so far; This Day Aria. I just liked this ending mroe than the Wedding.

This actually was probably my least favorite episode ever. It also gives a bit of further evidence for Celestia being fallible, but I'll discuss that after everyone's watched it.

I don't think Reaper really checks in anymore. And the last post I saw from Wade was about a month ago.
