    Brony Thread

Post by User1 on Mon Mar 18, 2013 7:34 pm

I think Wade is one of those 'teens', that dosen't really care about other people's feelings, as long as he gets to stay on the side of the majority. I would also like him to get in here, didn't he once mention having next to no friends? Does he need to hide in the Internet to find some kind of security?

Edit: Yes, I do need to let this go, but you probably have no idea how it feels to be insulted so deeply by someone 13 years younger than you.

Renegade please stop. I'm sure Wade didn't mean it that way. Remember rule Number 1.

    1. No flaming. Debates and disagreements are fine and even encouraged, but incendiary comments and insulting posts are not. This also extends to abusive and offensive language, and circumventing the language filter.

I understand you feel hurt man, but just drop it. Talk with Wade perhaps in private about it after you have calmed down. Maybe take a break before posting since obviously you are hurt and I can easily see why. Please however understand people make mistakes and there is no need to possibly cause more conflict.

We also have to remember to be forgiving of people for intentional and unintentional harm they may cause.

If you feel you cannot calm down then I suggest just taking a break and maybe blowing off some steam in a video game.

Renagade did you read what I put in the let it out thread? Long story short I understand how you feel. However you got to let it go. You can't let that stuff get to you as it will hurt you.

He's stated in past how he's confused and depressed so he has his own demons he's dealing with. Also, keep in mind, he's a minor so he's still developing both physically and mentally.

Just as everyone needs to understand and respect your autism so too does everyone need to respect the maturation process of a mere child.

Although I didn't try to offend in that post, I'll admit I've gone too far. I think I won't discuss this anymore. Perhaps I will try to discuss this in private with Wade. It's just that, ironically, the whole situation was actually worsened by my condition. I've always taken a lot of offense to any comment, no matter how minor. It's hard for people in my position to forgive and forget, you would know yourself, if you were me. Anyway, I think I will drop this now. I just hope that, in future, I can learn from this.

Jesus Mary and Joseph, if you'd spent more than 5 minutes on this site then you'd know I'm not the kind of fella to insult others deliberately. I used autist as a catch all term for that, and the mocking I direct towards others is not directed at you. Its the same scenario with me calling greedy people Jews, it's not like I actually harbour anti-semetic tendencies.

I'm also laughing at your projection: I certainly don't feel the need to hide behind an online persona, thank you very much.

If you're honestly getting offended by what I saw then I sincerely apologise sugarcube, but try growing a thicker skin. If I intend to insult you, I'll be a lot more direct with it.

That isn't killing embers Wade that's rekindling a fire. Enough, take it to a pm and no one post anymore about this. Can anyone change the topic?

So, if a real life horse started talking to you at a ranch or something, how would you respond? Even if it talked like an MLP character, I'm assuming people would reasonably freak out and question their sanity.

Yes, I admit to it, I am easily offended. Also, how was I supposed to know those things about your personality, when I nearly never see you use those words, or give any kind of explanation that you use it as a catch all term? Also, I did realise it wasn't directed at me, but still found it quite offending, when I didn't know you use autist as a 'catch all term'.

Alright, so you don't need to do hide behind a persona. All the better then. And it's very comforting to know I will certainly be insulted directly in future. Also, I don't know if your apology is sarcastic or not, I can't tell through text. But I'll assume it to be serious. I just hope we can sort this out, as it was just a misunderstanding on my part.

Edit: I was going to post this, but you two got in first. Oh well, let this be the last post on the subject, and try to leave this behind.

Why question something like your sanity? Just go with it and see what happens, and after a while slap yourself to see if you have pain.

I would turn the horse into beefburgers, that is obviously the best course of action.

Ah then you end your dream and the sleep you likely needed if you're dreaming about talking horses.

So we have a new pony to look forward too?

Cool, I haven't really kept up with all of it but I'm looking forward to seeing her in the next season.

Off-Topic of the Off-Topic: I finished that build I posted earlier, I can't believe I had the time to do it today.

You see mine Grin? Also another student of Celestia? Yep defiantly see where this is going. A former student comes to see her better successor and then a test of new friendship and struggles form. I hope she realizes that Luna is not evil and attacks at first sight. Also Sun-like cutie mark? Who else has something like that?
