Demon's Souls allowed the duplication of usable items and also smithing items with the Stockpile Thomas glitch. Dark Souls had the bottomless box glitch, that allowed people to make brand new characters with high level gear. They need to make it a lot better, and make it so that we are unable to pull off any kind of glitch.

Storage should be a more central part of the game. So yes we need a new system of storage maybe a NPC that has a Warp that has a vault? Like in Borderlands 2?

They need to add a way to categorize the items we get better. Why is it that when we get a weapon or armor it becomes separate from the other one of the same type. If we can hold 99 things of the same item in one slot we should be able to have same weapons and armor be in the same slot of our inventory. Maybe change it so let's say a +5 longsword can go in the same slot with the other +5 longswords.

Looking back now forget what I said. I just find the inventory for weapons and armor now a little clunky, or overbearing. It kinda stresses my need to keep things organized. The problem I keep running into, at least for consoles I think, is how to improve that without making it an annoyance with the time it takes to find what you want.

There should be something like the Borderlands 2 guy, that sounds smart. Or a person who travels everywhere and follows you to ech area and appears at each bonfire before you get there. Somehow. lol but I guess we gotta just keep putting' ideas out.

Demon's Souls organized weapons the same way the wiki does. Who ever changed that should be beheaded. They should make armors be separated by parts too.

I personally find DkS system to be just fine, once you know where stuff is it's easy to find. It only needs extra options like faster scrolling on the analog stick or the cross pad and extra options like move item to top/bottom or move everything in/out of bottomless box. I wouldn't like the old DeS system back, it can be confusing if you have no clue what category a certain weapon is in which was a massive pain in the butt when I first experienced it and still is a bit now. A possible solution to combining these two systems would be to colour code the weapon icon boxes, so you could have blue for greats words, red for curved swords, green for hammers, yellow for catalysts and so on. But this has a limit of defining colours and there's already over 20 categories so alot would be different shades than colours, plus people that are colour blind will have difficulty benefiting from it.

The Bottomless Box was a Pain in the as$
Make it the Same way as it was in Demons .
Katanas have their own Tab, Axes have their own, Chest Armor had their own and Helmets too etc
Now you have to scoll through everything you have to find your stuff .
And i dont know about you, but i dont want to move Items around for 5 Minutes .
