Stone Greataxe?

I was just wondering if anyone has used it and could tell me what the movesets like because i was thinking of using it in my new dragonbro build

I don't like it. It doesn't hit hard enough to justify the moveset and weight. The DGA is a far superior weapon.

I thought it looked inferior to the DGA at first as well. However, despite the lower AR and higher requirements, I think the strong attacks have potential. The two-handed strong attack in particular looks much better then the DGA, it's faster and the followup has a huge hitbox. Also, I'm not sure but the one-handed strong attack looks like it can dead angle.

the one handed strong attack is worth the 48 str req as it can dead angle and is very fast, however i feel its moveset lends it better to a slower moving tankish chracter than a glass cannon like a drgonbro as it does still leave you open on the regular swings, thing is the regular greataxe has more ar than the stone one at the required stats... so its really up to whetehr you like the moveset or not.

The regular greataxe has crap for range though. In my opinion the regular greataxe is for lower str or fast rolling builds, the demon's greataxe is for pure AR with some gimmicky strong attacks, and the stone greataxe is for builds that want the most solid and versatile move set at the cost of damage.

If you have 50Str it is worth it, cause its 1h r2 is great for dead angles. Its damage is crap though, but it is cool enough that i would still use it.

Forget the damage if your a dragonbro it will kill your enemies anyway

While im here what do you think of the build that im thinking of using?
