    Hey, I got one of my builds done and it has 4 attunement slots because I didn't really need points anywhere so I just said "what the hey" and put em there.

    I'm using Black Flame, 2 Great Fireballs and Fire Surge right now, but I'm unsure if the last 3 are good choices. I'de like some suggestions on what I could try.

    Black Flame is staying, no matter what lol. It's BLACK FIRE man!

    Black Flame and Great Combustion are basically the same thing, I'de rather not do that.

    Do you have any other suggestions?

    Two people suggested Fire Tempest, how does one use that in a 1v1 situation?

    Also, I'm not a fan of the 'mist' pyromancies. As strange as this might sound, I don't like having to weaken my enemy to defeat him.

    if you backstab him or riposte him, cast fire tempest and he will probebly be destroyed (but you may be either backstabbed or hit by him, if he's fast enough).

    TRy running up to him and using it. But remember to spin so he can't BS you. That's how i always use FT in 1v1, and it works most of the time.
    You should also try to push him to a corner.

    throw your GCFB sprint into residual Lava - cast FT - defended from BS's the Lava will cancel the damage from them or stagger them.

    I don't understand the spinning part, won't that open up my back? Or do you mean as I'm running up and charging try to keep facing him so he doesn't get behind me?

    I've actually seen this done before, I think it worked pretty well for the person who did it. Thanks for reminding me lol.

    i think you should use black flame, great fire ball, fire tempest and fire whip (one of the most dangerous pyromancies in the game imo).

    Care to explain why and how I should try Fire Whip? I kinda like it too and I know it hits twice, but I can't envision using it without getting backstabbed.

    About tempest spinning: You run up to him and spin in the same direction you expect him to bs you from. Say he is to your right (so he'll come in clockwise) spin clockwise as well so your back never intersects him (or spin counterclockwise so fast that he can't react in time to hit rb).

    Or you could just run up and spin randomly, doesn't work too well tbh but it's easier.

    I would advise avoiding the fireballs if you have less than 45 dex, since without the casting speed buff people can just roll past you and take a dump in your back with their weapon.

    GC isn't that much like black flame. It does more damage and less guard break and so is situationally more useful.

    and GC is way better to obtain the last cheap damages.
    after a BS chaos fire whip's just insane.
    And storm could be tricky-lethal in spaces with pillar, stairs or open walls

    in narrow places and after a bs it can do insane amounts of damage, each hit does almost 700 damage.

    Well, even if GC is more useful, I like shooting black fire out of my hand a bit better :P.

    I'll keep the Fireball part in mind too, I can see that happening alot if I was to use them. But I'll try them still, just in case.
