the only reason i can think of going past 40 is if your going for the sunlight spear, or if your just going as high a sl as you can cause then it wouldnt really matter if you dump more souls into faith.

Going past 40 onto 50 is worth is if you are using the darkmoon talisman. Especially if you want a blade buff, the magic adjust continues to scale pretty well.

im going off if your gonna stick to SL120 like so many ppl do(witch i think is dumb) cause then that would be a pure faith build, and exept for pendents the best faith scaling i see is b. altho i dont have grant and i here that scales nice

A lot of occult weapons change to A scaling once you get to +5.

it depends on your build, i usually go to 50 with my charechters core stat, (if its a strenght build i go to 50, faith 50 int 50 or dex 50) that is based off stopping yourself at 120 for PVP.
if its a faith build deciding on how you want your weapons is also important, i could be wrong but if you are stopping at 40 then a devine weapon will do more damage than an Occult weapon at 50 faith that switches
( I could be confused on which one is which but there is that effect

My current SL 125 build has faith at 50 strength at 40, Vitality at 32(I think), 16 attunement and 40 endurance.
Its totally within reason to max both damage stats and still have points to play around with.

ok thanks for the hints well i guess going to 50 for that spear dosent sounds bad im now 40 faith..will keep going to 50 faith then im bulding a faith heavy armor user so gona need to pimp my endu a bit

End is one of those stats that you probably should stop at 40
at 40 end your stmina is maxed so going higher only makes your equipment burden go up, some folks do builds where they have 50 end, and i guess it enables them to be fast with heavy armor but i personally have never found it worth it, by the time you get to that high of a level people can deal enough damage to make armor relativley pointless in PvP, that said decent armor can be the difference in beign able to survive a hit or 2

I took my cleric to 50 faith (SL125) for the Sunlight Spear. Fantastic miracle for NG+ and on. I is a handy weapon in the arsenal for places like the ToG, where it can knock giant skellies right off a cliff. People dodge it a lot in PvP, but if you do get lucky, it totals them.
